Loving these lights.
I bought these lights to use both inside and outside and they are exceeding my expectations. They turned on at the right time and they turned off at the right time which is exactly why you buy them. I like how bright they are. no complaints.

Solved my patio lighting problem!
I had used all kinds of other products, either built-in bulbs that wouldn’t come on or externally rigged sensors that were ugly and exposed. This bulb was a cinch. I just plugged it in and bam! Light comes on at dusk and goes off at dawn. I’ll revisit this review to see how the longevity is after a year of being exposed to outside elements, cold and heat, but so far it’s been great after a couple of months.

Work great but….
Personally, they’re a little too bright for my taste. I wasn’t sure how bright 60w equivalent was, and after seeing them on at night, I can say that I think I like less brightness and warmer colors. Despite this, for the price and for what they are, they are a good deal and work as advertised. They come on automatically when the sensor doesn’t detect enough light. Perfect since my wife always forgets to turn off the lights in the morning when she leaves for work and we get home after it gets dark and come home to a dark house.

These are great! No thinking about whether the outdoor lights are on at night. We have 4 outdoor lights and the rigmarole of either leaving them on all day or having to remember to turn them all on at bedtime was getting boring. We split the difference by leaving the two with a switch in the garage on all day and the other two got turned off. But then weâd forget.I bought 2 bulbs to start out and test. Theyâve worked well and the lights come on at dusk and off at sunrise without us ever thinking about it. Also a nice feature for when we travel. Now that I know how great they are, I will be buying 2 more.

Bright!
I adore this lightbulb. I don’t have to think about turning the outside light on and off every day, and the bulb itself is shatterproof. I was also rather shocked at how bright the bulb is. We live on an unlit portion of our suburban road, so having our lamppost in the front yard on makes a huge difference in visibility at night. Having that visibility somehow gives me a greater sense of peace of mind, and I love having that.

Bright and makes things easier with auto-off
These bulbs are amazing for a porch or patio! I forget to always to turn on or off the porch light, but this bulb took care of that by being light sensitive. I just leave the switch on amd the light turns off when the suns up. Plus, it’s sooo bright too! Lights up my whole porch and makes it so much easier for deliveries at night. I normally would use 2 bulbs there but with these, I just needed 1.

Working as Intended
Installed the lightbulb into the fixture on my covered porch. Was nervous that the covering would block the sun and trick the bulb into being lit all day long. Was pleased that the sensor worked well enough to come on just past dusk and turn itself off past dawn. Worked great! I will note that I turned the light on while it was still light out. The bulb came on for just a second, but the sensor quickly turned it back off until evening.
