Comparable to Depends for Men
I have a family member (male) who is suffering dementia and incontinence. This is the same quality as Depends for a far better price. Home Healthcare aids do recommend us not to use the pull ups because urination is extremely heavy right now, so they recommend the briefs that have tape up like diapers. On days when I’m struggling to put those on due to severe atrophy in his legs, these are pretty darn easy to get on and I’ve even put Guards or Liners in them that help capture the urine. In my case, it works great but I’d say is 50/50. Anyway, truly this is a great product I’ve been so pleased with the quality of many amazon basics brand stuff. So, for light to moderate incontinence this is perfect. Stretchy, durable, hold capacity is light to moderate.

Best Protective Undies for your Money
My husband’s health has degraded this year, making it difficult for him to properly clean himself or sometimes make to the toilet in time. I was worried these would not be comfortable, but he feels comfy and protected – took a lot of stress away from him. I would highly recommend the Amazon Basics Men’s Protective Underwear, Maximum Absorbency over other brands – which I tried first, but are very expensive. My husband is approximately 170lbs, 5-10 with undie size of 34-36 and the Small/Medium are a perfect fit.

Mens pull ups
The reason I gave this a 4 instead of a 5 is my fault. My husband is 6’4″ and weighs about 235 lbs. It was my first time to purchase this type of product. I ordered an XL and although it is a bit big, it holds all the leakage. I only wish they were not so long as it hangs between his legs. BUT, that may be due to his belly pushing them down. I tried another brand size Lg. There was quite a difference. Although more like briefs, they were too small. To answer a few questions… there is no skin irritation and they do the job they are designed for.

Basic and Inexpensive
The “Large” size work for me, a guy with a 44″ waist pushing 300#. I am at the top end for the large size and these are a good fit; the stretchy material can probably go another 2-3″ around the waist. That does NOT mean someone with a 46″ waist could wear these; they’re comfortable on me because of the added stretch. And yes, I would call these adult pull-ups.As for absorbency they’re good but people think of these as these are not adult diapers which they are not. You cannot use these to “skip” a trip to the bathroom. You use these because you can’t get to the bathroom fast enough, but you *still* need to get there. That’s the difference between adult diapers (thicker, lot more absorption) vs incontinence underwear (thinner, less padding).I wear regular underwear on top of these it helps prevent them from shifting around. Also I’d rather have someone see the back of my underwear covering my backside instead of the stretchy while material that is unique to incontinence underwear–year, I’m vain… Also wearing the normal underwear on top prevents the stretchy material from being ‘rubbed’ by my pants. That’s probably why I haven’t any issued with the durability of the incontinence underwear. As for thickness, its hard to tell that I’m wearing anything other than normal underwear when I’m wearing me regular jeans. Even without the jeans, the incontinence underwear is barely noticeable under the boxer-briefs that I wear. Very happy about that. After my stroke, I can feel the need to go but cannot stop myself. Once my body needs to go, I’ve got maybe a minute to get myself to the bathroom before the floodgates open. As a child you learn to hold it until you can get somewhere to relieve yourself. I lost that muscle control with the stroke and this underwear gives me added time to get to a bathroom without embarrassing myself. For #2 I have more time; slightly better muscle control after the stone. These underwear cannot handle a full load of #2. It can handle a small mess, but it’s just to give you time to get to the bathroom. If you need underwear to handle #2, you really need adult diapers. There have been nights when I woke up and really needed to go. I’m 10 steps from the toilet and on my worst night, I went 1/3 in the underwear and 2/3 in the toilet. The underwear was barely able to contain the mess. fortunately that is a very rare nonoccurence. If you need #2 protection, these are not it.Hopefully in a few more months, I will be able to develop the muscle control so that I won’t need these. In the mean time, these work for for I need them to handle. If you choose to go with these, have realistic expectations. I started by wearing adult diapers overnight after I left rehab and graduated to these over a three month period.

Not the same quality as depends version.
Bought both brands due to recent problem. Amazon brand has absorbable pad in same height region for both front and back of pelvic area. Depends brand has higher pad in front where you need it most. Men need that more. Cost less than Depends brand but to me Iâd rather not worry about missing the pad for a few dollars a pack.

Better than other brands
My husband has Parkinson’s and has urinary incontinence at night, he sleeps so hard he isn’t aware he is peeing. We tried other brands (CVS brand was next best) and fits, this one was recommended by a fellow Parkinson’s person and he likes where the pad lays for his leakage. He calls them diapers, I like saying briefs or pull-ups, but these are better and less expensive than Depends. I order four packages and get 15% discount, worth the purchase. He weighs close to 290 lbs and we buy XL for him.

EXCELLENT TOILET TISSUE BY AMAZON
Amazon Basics 2-Ply Toilet Tissue is an outstanding product. It is very soft and easy to use, and it flushes easily. I appreciate the Amazon Basics products they match or exceed the quality of brand name products while typically costing significantly less. Thank you, Amazon! As always, you provide a satisfying shopping experience for my needs and wants on your website. Additionally, the Amazon Prime and Amazon Subscription programs save me a considerable amount of money each year.

The product is very large, so I ordered the XL which are just right.
