Compact, packed with features, works perfectly
It was finally time to replace my 10-year old first generation Fire TV, and I definitely had years of great use from that, and am looking forward to years of service from this fire stick. I connected this to my main TV in the family room.
– Price is fantastic for such a feature packed device
– Plugs right into the back of my television, plug and play, up and running with no hassle in just a few minutes
– Plenty of memory to meet all my needs
– Remote connects instantly, works flawlessly, has a voice button and app shortcut buttons, and batteries are even included
– Interface is the same as Iâm used to on my other Amazon Fire TV devices
– Includes a short flexible HDMI connection cable for ease of connection when space is limited at the back of the TV.
Overall works so well and price is so good, I will probably buy another one for my TV in the spare bedroom.

used to replace a Firestick Lite
I did not know how cumbersome and slow my older Firestick Lite had become until I bought this and started using it.
Everything is working much better and much faster. I have Tablo for local channels. I have an outdoor antenna for those local channels. I was struggling to be happy with Tablo. It seemed glitchy and very slow.
Once I updated to this 4k Firestick Max everything became faster. I am sure this has a lot to do with additional storage space and the better processor. With the Firestick Lite I tried to avoid Tablo and just used the antenna input on my TV. Kind of a bummer without a guide. However, With the 4k Firestick Max I am able to enjoy the Tablo menus, the life guide, recording local channels and everything else about Tablo. I also feel many of the other apps I have on the new Max stick are working better and faster. Loving this 4k Firestick max even though I do not have a 4k TV.

Love These and the Controllers! Opened Up a Lot of Free Viewing Options
I don’t have any 4K TV’s in the house though all of our TV’s are LED’s. I got the Firesticks because we have gone to internet based streaming television. I went with this, the most advanced of the Firesticks, because I didn’t want to have to do any upgrades in the future, and because Amazon had a great special price on a 3 pack of these. These work great. I sent up our Amazon Prime, Netflix, and Disney Plus accounts and now merely have to press the quick access buttons on the controller to go to any of these services, without having to enter my login info every time. The Firesticks also gave me access to other free streaming services, which I had not expected. I can’t recommend these Firesticks enough. One thing though – these come with a USB power cable that I found to be too short to reach the power outlets for two of my TV’s. I bought 2 four-foot-long USB extension cables and that remedied my problem.
