Great Value and Easy Install
These lights were super easy to install and I love how easy it is to adjust the motion of them. I do like that moving the light does not affect the housing and doesn’t cause light to leak through. This is a sign of a well made fixture.I only needed 5, but I definitely feel that the product is aptly priced for 6 units. These are comparable to any lighting fixture you could buy at any big box store.I do think these are of good quality and recommend these for home lighting.

Easy Install – Great Range of Angle Control – Great Price
I’ve ordered a couple other Amico recessed light products and they’ve all performed extremely well. These are the first that I’ve had that have been gimbal style and I’m very satisfied with this purchase. The ability to angle the light really allows you create a unique lighting aesthetic especially in hallways. These integrated perfectly with the dimmers I already had installed and the dimming range seems to be even better than some of the other recessed lights I have in my house.

Stairwell ceiling lights
I used these in my stairwell ceiling and they are great. They can be adjusted to shine at almost any angle, but not quite straight down in my case. They are so much better than the normal circle lights that would point right in your eyes as you walk down the stairs. The color temperature correction is nice as well, I am very happy with these and will be ordering more for the downstairs hallway artwork.

Does as promised butâ¦
Light works as promised but materials appear cheaply made. Metal of connector box is thin and tinny. Spring clamps weak their design causes them to catch on every irregularity. Next time I will probably pay more for better quality.

Quality looking lights at a great price
These recessed lights are outstanding. Easy to install, no additional housings need to be purchased, just need wire and power snap in the ceiling and your ready to go. Accurate color output with choice of three different whites. I highly recommend.

Good Gimballs
I wanted a smaller 4″ gimball light vs the 6″ kind as this size is less obnoxious.The product is solidly built and the gimball is tight enough to hold its ground. There no light bleed in and around the housing either.I wish the gimball could tilt more to 90 degrees but I knew what I was getting in for with this advertised feauture.There’s also many switches to change colors to match your other ceiling lights. Which in my case is 3000K.Overall a solid product that I’ll update if it fails prematurely…

20 degrees of tilt
This is a flood light. If straight down is 100% brightness, then 20 degrees off vertical is 95% bright, and 45 degrees is 70% bright. Since it only tilts up to 20 degrees, max tilt reduces the vertical brightness by 5% and increases the 20 degree brightness by 5%, not very much. You might get almost the same performance without the gimbal feature. So check out the Amico 6-inch gimbal light with 80 degrees tilt, or the Amico 4-inch recessed light without gimbal. The 5 colors of white are very useful, especially if you don’t know which color is going to work best in a room.

bright and easy to work with
i like that it has its own jbox and is airtight. these are great when needing to install on a ceiling with a slant so that the lights can be adjusted how you need them. the price is good for a 6 pack. also great to select the color as you want.. and maybe change your mind later too. nice lights!
