This Amplim Manual Wearable Breast Pump can collect up to 4 ounces of milk at a time and give you the ability to control the suction it uses. Whether you need to relieve your engorged breast or are in a situation where the power source is not available, this Amplim Manual Wearable Breast Pump is designed for you. It’s made from 100% soft silicone and PP all you have to do to attach it to the breast is to squeeze the two circles on the silicone, Position the collector onto the breast skin with the nipple positioned in the center of the opening. Release the squeeze to create suction, then Adjust the position of the bra to secure the breast pump. The milk should flow until you’ve sufficiently pumped. This Manual Wearable Breast Pump does not have mechanical parts or motors. It only needs your hand to create the suction on the unit to get it to work. Breast pumping should not be painful or too uncomfortable. More suction using an electric pump will not make more milk and can cause breast or nipple damage. The unit is compact, lightweight, easy to travel with, and makes pumping on the go much easier. Perfect for travel and it fits easily in a baby bag. A must-have when on the go and didn’t know if one could find an electrical outlet. Use silently, discreetly, and quickly when needed. Easy to clean with tap or boiling water. The stopper is designed to prevent milk spills.

Great to catch letdown, not a “pump”.
These milk collectors (not pumps and I don’t understand why they call them that) are very similar to Boon Trove milk collectors. I haven’t had the chance to fully test these out yet as I got them in preparation, but I used the Boon Trove collectors with my first and absolutely loved using them. I am sure these will work just the same, but if they don’t, I will definitely update my review. They feel quality and well made and I believe you could use them with or without the stiff plastic “sleeve” depending on your preference. These do have a more natural shape compared to similar products, so they are a bit more discreet. I love that they have a plug at the top for easy emptying. I prefer this style collector over the traditional Haaka, simply because the traditional style Haaka was uncomfortable for me and I always had to be sure my little one wasn’t about to fling it across the room. This style goes inside your bra so they are more secure. They do have a good amount of suction when you squeeze the sides, but they are really just meant to be mostly passive milk collectors to catch the letdown while you nurse on the opposite side. Or you can wear them if you’re experiencing a lot of leaking, but they won’t be actively “pumping”. The suction can be adjusted to be a bit stronger so it pulls a bit more than just what would be dripping out, but still not what I would call a “pump”. These feel wonderful and have a great design overall.

“Convenient Concept, Misleading Execution: A Manual Milk Collector That Falls Short for Busy Moms”
This milk collector is an innovative concept, but labeling it as a “pump” feels misleading. My wife found it challenging to express any milk manually using this product. The process quickly became tedious, time-consuming, and physically demanding. For most women, convenience is key, and many would prefer to use a portable electric breast pump that allows for hands-free operation, making the whole experience faster and more efficient. While the milk collector has its merits, it’s difficult to see how it fits into the lives of busy mothers who might not have the luxury of dedicating extra time to manual pumping. That said, my wife has experienced discomfort with certain electric breast pumps, especially nipple pinching when using flanges that didn’t fit correctly. In this regard, the milk collector could offer some relief for women struggling with flange-related issues, as it doesn’t rely on rigid components. However, for those looking for efficiency and ease of use, the manual nature of this product might not meet their needs.Overall, while the idea is thoughtful, it may be more appealing as a supplementary tool rather than a primary pumping solution.

Nice for early stages of nursing
I got these to try to catch letdown on one breast while nursing on the other. They work well for that purpose! It’s nice to have two so one can be in the wash while I’m using the other. These are easy to stick into one side of your nursing bra and they don’t provide much suction so they probably have less risk of creating oversupply than some other tools for catching letdown. I only took off a star because they aren’t terrible to clean, but they’re best hand washed vs in the dishwasher due to their shape.

    Convenience on the go
These are great passive/ manual milk collectors. They’re made of a soft silicone and are easy to clean.Using them is pretty simple, just squeeze the sides to manual pump. These are great to have when you need to travel somewhere or just to have on hand for backup.I prefer having these over the plain milk collectors since these ones have dual usage and are more convenient.

Great Back-Up, Especially for Power Outages
After having had mastitis over a dozen times, I feel it is important to have a portable backup pump that provides more control (manual vs. automatic). Moreover, it is wise to have something like this on hand even if it is just for when the power goes out in a storm and the primary pump isn’t available because the battery backup has run out (from a mama who knows)!

    Not a lot of suction
Overall, these “pumps” are easy to use and clean, however they don’t compare to electric pumps of better brands. They barely have suction and seem to only catch drippings. They are pretty comfortable but again, not such suction to really be uncomfortable. Could probably be used in an emergency situation but I wouldn’t rely on these as your only pump.

    Cool
I have tried quite a few milk collectors and manual pumps but not one exactly like this set. I think this is a cool concept and it works well enough. The manual pumping isn’t the most comfortable but it isn’t the worst thing in the world either. These are great if you are already leaking out of the opposite breast while breastfeeding.

    Great New Mom Gift
I recently ordered the “Amplim Wearable Manual Suction Breast Pump, Breast Milk Collector | Hands-Free Portable Silicone Breastmilk Collector for Nursing Mom, Newborns, Infants | BPA, Lead, Phthalate Free, 4 oz, White 2-Pack”These pumps are great for collecting milk from the breast that leaks out while breastfeeding. However, I find that they function more as milk collectors than traditional pumps, as they don’t have enough suction to stay in place on their own. When placed in your bra, they suction just fine. I love this product and highly recommend it because it is easy to use and even easier to clean! This would make a great gift for any new mom.
