Loved it so much I bought it again
I bought one of the first zr2 on the market, it was glitchy like all of them but once we got to know eachother , we vibed well. 6 batteries and a charger later (I groom 7 days a week and 3 different locations on public trans my stuff takes a beating) a nasty fall shorted the switch, which is the glitchy part to begin with. 4 years of reliability though… the clipper was worth the $699 it cost originally. I used to blow through a corded clipper a year to the tune of 300+. It was no question which clipper I was replacing it with while the switch gets replaced on my old one. This one is all the reliability of the old one with no glitches. So you CAN improve perfection.

Fooled me twice
When i started grooming i was so excited to save money and buy this clipper. When i finally was able to afford it, the clipper was working great until it wasnât⦠2 months after the purchase the battery clipper died and it couldnât charge anymore. Since my warranty was over i had to sell it for parts. Now 3 years later they have this version which you can detach the battery at least so i went ahead and bought and guess what⦠SAME thing happened, and this time within the month of purchase and when i asked for a replacement, at least a battery replacement (not the whole thing) they took their sweet time to send me return label and now they are saying my window for a return is overâ¦. Wow .. it is a tricky way of getting that warranty money out of you. I at least have to only find a battery replacement this time cause this version allows it, but still to go all this trouble for a $300 clipper that you would expect TOP quality is insane, thereâs other fantastic clippers in the market save your money, i honestly just wanted to give them another chance.

I like most everything about the clipper. Except the the clipper makes the blades run hot faster than any clipper Iâve had before. Doesnât matter which brand of blade I use, they all run hot.

If ur slow or an at home stylist or groomer this is not for u. If ur a licensed professional and work fast, this machine is peak performance and u will love it. If u cant finish with a blade in under 3 minutes, look elsewhere cause this motor is so strong n fast the blades heat up fast. If ur a pro like me, itâs absolutely perfect! 10/10. I got this to replace my cordless bgr+ after 13 yrs and I have no regrets.
