These cameras are the greatest. Easy installation, great quality, good view, best night I have seen, tracks every movement and follows for a few seconds, and cloud or local storage is nice as well. Wifi connection is easy too and good. The function overall is superb.

Great Security Camera
Camera arrived quickly and in good shape to our home in Florida. Mounting was easy due to the template, all necessary parts and instructions included. Connection to WiFi went smoothly. Made all adjustments and everything worked fine. Very happy with the smoothness of the scanning and the picture quality. We were so pleased with it we ordered another one for our home in Ohio. We can view each camera from the app on our phones at any time. We get an alarm when a person is detected at either home. After 8 months the camera in Florida quit moving from side to side. Everything else worked fine. We called AOSU with the number provided in the instructions and were able to talk to a very helpful person. They requested a reset and physical check of the camera along with a short recording of us calibrating the camera which showed the problem. Once they viewed the recording a new camera was sent to us which we received within 3 days. I highly recommend this camera due to the picture quality and features of the camera. Also the follow up after the sale was almost a throwback from years gone by when companies actually cared about their customers.

Was amazed with camera’s picture quality and all the features, such as pan and tilt, motion capture, night vision etc. The solar charge was always high so never was out of power. Amazing value!!!!

I purchased the AOSU SolarCam D1 Classic in January 2024, and it has been an excellent investment. Throughout spring and summer, the camera performed flawlessly, and I never had to worry about the charge. The 2K resolution is crystal clear, and the motion detection and tracking work exceptionally well, even at a distance of 26-36 feet, with the camera mounted at a height of 8-9 feet.As fall progressed into winter, I started experiencing intermittent charging issues. Initially, it charged on sunny days, but over time it stopped charging altogether and wouldn’t even charge via USB cable. I reached out to customer support through the built-in chat feature in the app, and Julie from support was incredibly helpful. She walked me through all the troubleshooting steps and quickly initiated a warranty claim under the 1-year coverage.Despite this issue, I’m still very impressed with the camera’s overall performance and support experience. I would definitely buy more of these if I need additional coverage. Highly recommend the AOSU SolarCam D1 Classic for its great features and responsive customer service!

J’ai eu des problèmes avec la première caméra, qui filmait une fois sur deux ou pas du tout. La détection était aléatoire.Après plusieurs échanges d’emails, Julie du SAV AOSU m’a envoyé une autre caméra. SAV au TOP.Installation facile, dans mon cas je l’ai fixé en haut d’une descente de gouttière qui fait le coin de ma maison, du coup, comme elle est motorisée, je peux voir les 2 côtés de ma maison.La qualité de vision est très bonne de jour comme de nuit.Il n’y a pas de fausse détection, uniquement quand un humain passe. Mais il arrive qu’elle ait, un temps de réaction un peu lent.La batterie se charge correctement.Pour le Wifi c’est correct. Dommage que l’on ne puisse pas mettre en 5Ghz, j’ai été obligé de changer la connexion de mon téléphone en 2,4Ghz pour être à l’identique avec la caméra.Image très bien.Les leds de nuit ça jette.Installation du logiciel sur smartphone facile.Paramétrage simple, dans détection et suivi humain, je l’ai mis sur LOING.Notification rapide.Bref très content de mon achat et vraiment le SAV est super.

This is a great unit. It attaches to the wall easily and the built in solar panel means you don’t have to trail a separate wire from the solar panel like you do with other units. Of course unless the solar panel was efficient this would be a minus, not being able to position the solar panel in a south facing location. However this particular unit is very efficient, I have mine mounted on a North facing wall and even with the extreme cold we are having and the short daylight hours, the unit is holding its charge. All in all an excellent camera with an easy to use configurable app.
