I spilled liquid on my old MacBook Air 2017 back in January and I’ve been looking for a laptop replacement. PC didn’t work for me, and a newer model was too expensive. Someone recommend that I try buying a refurbished model for Amazon and here I am!This computer has been running like a charm and I find the Touch Bar fun to use. This computer has really allowed me to make my work mobile and its absolutely cleaned. No traces of past owner. The battery life works just fine. Anything longer than 3 hours is a bit excessive and sounds like ppl should take a break from work, haha~Anyway, the whole computer is solid and in great. condition. My only hang up is that the screw at the bottom was slightly out of the hole. that was weird. Aside from that I’m happy with my purchase.

Defective even at the highest price
When I received it I was given a charging brick that would NOT even plug into any outlet I had so I ended up using my iPad brick. It finally turned out but I instantly noticed battery issues the second it was at 15% or so and it would jump up to 40% randomly then back to 15% or even less or just a tiny bit more in the 20% range, after trying to even log into my iCloud account, the laptop would just be in an endless loading loop so I never managed to log into my iCloud account. In addition to all of this the laptop would randomly just shut off (more battery issues) which is when I just gave up on it completely since no matter if it was plugged in at all times, it would randomly drop to 0% and die on the spot with minutes long wait times to boot back up again, some other issues were in the keyboard, the ânâ key would have to be pressed deep to type the letter or it wouldnât budge at all, same thing for the spacebar. This purchase was a complete waste of time, even at the highest price of $440~ I basically just bought a useless piece of junk laptop that can not function at all.

Great for the price
I am most please with my macbook pro purchase. I wanted a new laptop that was not breaking the bank on price. However, the charger seems to be old and kinda working. Battery life is not so great compared to a new one. That is understandable tho since this is a used computer. Overall im happy with my purchase. Thank you very much.-Mike

WORST AMAZON BUY EVER!
This laptop IS NOT in excellent condition as described. The screen has a LCD defect line about 6 inches. The âNâ button on the keyboard does not work. About 1/4 of the touchbar screen does not work. The camera on the laptop does not work at all. The laptop arrived with dirt and crumbs between the screen and keyboard as if it was swept from under a couch, packaged right up and mailed to me. Itâs like no one even inspected this laptop before reselling it. This was the worst buy ever. I recently started school online and will now have to wait weeks before I can get a refund and purchase another one FROM EBAY.

I purchased two of these MacBook Pro 2017 with Touch Bars and both were duds, let me explain. The first I purchased just this year in 2022 July, received promptly, and immediately noticed flaws. Paint was beginning to peel from some keys but that was not nearly as bad as the problem with the sticky keys! Now I am fully aware of Apple’s Butterfly 2 keyboard issues (which this MacBook featured), but this had multiple sticky keys and keys that were not fully responsive. Right out of the box! The screen was in good condition however and the MacBook powered on well. I was able to easily run my work applications (Teams, Slack, Chrome, Firefox) simultaneously without an issue. It was great because I could connect this with my iPad wirelessly as a second touchscreen display. I contacted the seller who wouldn’t offer a replacement, so I ordered a second model and planned to return the first when it arrived. Today the second model arrived and this one had much worse cosmetic damage to it. Cracks along the corners of the display panel, and mystery liquid stains. There was also an issue powering on this display but after continuously holding power key, I was able to get the display on. For sure won’t be keeping either of these unfortunately. Buyer beware!

Por la relación costo es una buena compra. Si deseas un equipo al que se le pueda hacer un upgrade de memoria o disco duro, este no es el que necesitas, ya que ambos vienen integrados a la tarjeta lógica, yo no he encontrado un técnico que se anime a hacer ese trabajo
