It’s an iPad Pro
I’ve owned 1 version each of the previous two types of 12.9″ iPad Pros, and this one feels like they mostly nailed it. It’s nearly the same form factor as the M1-M3 iPad Pro 12.9, but with a few subtle differences. First, it’s quite a bit thinner and much much lighter compared to the previous model. This is great because it fits in bags better and is much easier to hold with one hand while using it. Second, the front-facing camera array is now on the long edge. This is actually a negative for me because holding it in portrait mode with my right hand, or using the Apple Pencil Pro with it in portrait mode frequently blocks the camera. Lastly, this version of iPad Pro, with the latest updates to iPadOS includes the bafflingly unchangeable “dynamic volume buttons” setting. Depending on the orientation of the iPad, the volume buttons will change their use. So in Portrait mode, the volume button closest to the corner is Volume +, and in Landscape mode, that button is Volume -. Not a new feature, but the fact it’s not able to be toggled off is. It is incredibly frustrating because now you have to actually remember what is going on with the buttons instead of operating strictly on feel. The addition of Apple Pencil Pro support is also nice, but it’s disappointing that older models of Pencil cannot be used with this iPad. It’s a little frustrating because the barrel roll technology in the new Pencil is not revolutionary, and isn’t currently available in every app.Overall, it’s a good iPad. Get it if you need the newest model, but go for a refurb so that you can save some cash.
Very solid and good product I elastics are made with a very good I really like them –
Excellent Performance in a Renewed Device
I recently purchased the renewed Apple iPad Pro 2024 (13-inch, Wi-Fi, 256GB) in Space Black, and I am absolutely thrilled with my decision! As a long-time iPad user, I was looking for an upgrade that would offer powerful performance, and this device certainly delivers. The 13-inch Liquid Retina display is stunning! The colors are vibrant, and the clarity is exceptional, making it perfect for everything from watching videos to graphic design work. The ProMotion technology provides smooth scrolling and responsiveness, which enhances my overall experience.Performance-wise, the iPad Pro is a beast. The M2 chip handles multitasking with ease, whether Iâm running multiple apps or using demanding programs like graphic design and video editing software. Iâve noticed a significant improvement in speed and efficiency compared to my previous model.I also use the iPad Pro to read my clarinet pieces and concert notes, and it has been a game-changer for my practice sessions. The large screen makes it easy to view the music, and I can annotate my pieces directly on the display, which is incredibly convenient. The 256GB storage is perfect for my needs, allowing me to store plenty of apps, photos, and videos without worrying about running out of space. Plus, the Wi-Fi connectivity is fast and reliable, making streaming and downloading a breeze.Buying a renewed device was a bit of a leap of faith, but I was pleasantly surprised by the quality. It looks and performs like new, and I didnât encounter any issues during setup or use. Itâs a fantastic option for anyone looking to save some money without compromising on quality.Overall, I highly recommend the renewed Apple iPad Pro 2024 to anyone in the market for a high-performance tablet. Itâs a powerful tool for both work and play, and I couldnât be happier with my purchase
