Premium Apple product without the premium price
I switched to this phone from a Samsung galaxy S8+. As an iPad user, I was attracted to the continuous ecosphere Apple offered. There was a mild hiccup in transfer, as all my sorted photos transferred into a single album on the iPhone. After some sorting, though, I have no regrets whatsoever. The capability of this phone, despite it being one model year old, is striking (Many of its features are superior even to the current iPhone 11, including the OLED screen). The battery life has been better than expected for a renewed device, likely because it is only one model year old. I have larger hands, but I prefer the 5.8 inch size for one-handed use. If you are looking for a foray into the Apple ecosphere, this opportunity is hard to beat.

Scam
I received this phone and set it up relatively easy. The following morning I began to establish my logins for various things such as banks, and other services. I found it very suspicious that the phone began to act up. The screen became unresponsive, black and inoperable. What really concerned me is you could hear numbers being dialed, and other weird sounds. I processed the return following all instructions, my only option was to clear the phone via I cloud. Coincidentally the phone screen became active again shortly after. I was able to verify that the phone was no longer attached to my account and only a setup screen would pop up. My suspicious was further exasperated when the vendor contacted me asking me for my login info and then immediately turned around and said a refund would be processed minus the ârestocking fee.â I paid just over $400 for the initial purchase, the ârestocking feeâ apparently is $375. The vendor has mad no other attempt to contact me or correct this error.

1st One Died in a Week, Replacement died after 3 months
I was really on the fence about getting a refurb phone for my son but didn’t not want to shell out for a brand new. I took a chance with this company. As the title says, the first one they sent me was cosmetically very nice looking and I set it up and had it working in a few minutes. Sadly, within the week the phone would not start, go into recovery mode or take a charge. I contacted the seller and they had a 90-day warranty on all their refurbs. I got a replacement phone within a week and got Asurion insurance for it. That phone was purchased earlier this year and just stopped working too. Now I am thinking about buying a new one.

A year later and still going
Iâve had this phone for about a year. Itâs a phone. I have way more pictures on it and more apps and the memory is not near full. The battery is still great. No issues at all.
