Excellent Refurbished Case with Minor Design Issues
I purchased this refurbished case for my iPad Pro, seeking a cost-effective alternative to the exorbitantly priced new keyboard cases on the market. The case functions superbly and presents a significant value, especially when compared to new cases priced between $150 to $300.The craftsmanship of the case is commendable, and it proves to be quite reliable in daily use. However, I’ve encountered a few design challenges, presumably from Apple’s original specifications. The case is top-heavy, which makes it prone to tipping backward and causing the iPad to fall when jostled, especially when used on my lap. To mitigate this, I applied clear packing tape to overlap the screen slightly, extending about a half-inch behind the case on strategic points between the volume buttons and around the speakers. This makeshift solution has enhanced the stability significantly.Despite these workarounds, it’s worth noting that the case’s magnets could be stronger, and it lacks protective edges around the tablet, leaving the sides vulnerable. For those considering a purchase, I recommend looking for cases that offer robust edge protection. The seller did an excellent job refurbishing this case, and their work is commendable. If you’re in the market for a refurbished case, I suggest considering this company firstâyou wonât regret it.I bought this case hoping to use it with my iPad Pro. It works very well. I’ve shopped for similar cases, but paying $150 to $300 for a keyboard case is just ridiculous. That’s why I was looking for a gently used case. The case is very nice to use, absolutely relyable. I’ve used a few work-arounds to coap with Apple’s design flaws. The case is quite top heavy, and tends to fall backword if jossled. When using it on my lap, this can happen easily. The result is that the iPad falls off the case, hits the ground, and drives me nuts. My work around is to use clear packing tape overlapping the screen by about a half inch, folding behind the case. I put one between the volume buttons and the corner, and another between the two speakers on the left. Now it seems to stay on. I’ve seen other cases that have better and stronger magnets. Apple also made the case nearly exactly the size of the tablet, so even if it were to stay in the case, the edges and sides are unprotected. My suggestion would be to go for a case with protective edges.I have no problem with this company, they did an excellent job with my case before I got it. I’d suggest shopping here first. You won’t regret it.

Delighted
Iâve had this keyboard for 2 days. Delighted so far. Itâs lightweight, has smooth typing and the magnet is strong so iPad doesnât slip. Paid the same amount for another brand 2 years ago that was a huge disappointment. Pencil attachment came off after only 2 weeks, then the back no longer stood up after 2 months of use. Keyboard still works but I have to prop my iPad up to use it. Trackpad never worked well on it. Needless to say, I needed a new keyboard, especially since I am starting a college course tomorrow. I wasnât sure about a ârenewedâ apple device but I am very happy with this purchase. Looks like new. I do find myself reaching for a trackpad (which Iâm surprised about since the last keyboardâs trackpad never worked well) and Iâm going to have to buy something to carry my Apple Pencil in. Didnât think Iâd miss the backlit keyboard either, lol, but I do. Still tho, for the money it canât be beat. No regrets with this purchase. I purchased the optional insurance, just in case. Iâll update if anything changes.

Looks, Feels, Operates Like New!!!
Apple Smart Keyboard Folio for iPad Air (4th Generation) and iPad Pro 11-inch (2nd Generation).Bought this as a gift for a friends birthday. The Apple Smart Keyboard Folio for iPad Pro 11-inch (2nd Generation) he was using was developing CRATERS in some of the “keys”. I saw this keyboard and decided to take a chance as if it came in with issues I could use it on my iPad and get one from the Apple store for my friend.Well, it was delivered and I looked it over and tried it on my iPad. It worked just fine and looked like new. Resealed it and gave it to my friend who was delighted to get a “new” Smart Keyboard. I told him I had tried it out as I did not want to give him a non-working gift. I think I need to order another to be ready when he craters the keys on this one!

Works Awesome – Fits 4th and 5th Gen iPad Air
I have a 5th gen iPad Air and I wanted one of these smart folio covers for it because I like the idea of not having to charge the keyboard or connect it to Bluetooth. One thing I could not figure out with this one was whether or not it would fit the 5th gen iPad Air, as the description doesn’t say it and there is another one specifically sold for 5th gen that is $100 more. I ultimately compared the size of 4th gen and 5th gen and they were nearly identical (the thickness is slightly different, by something tiny like a millimeter). I figured to save $100, it was worth it to try given the size difference was so minimal it probably wouldn’t matter. But “probably” isn’t “definitely” so….I can tell you that it definitely does not matter. This folio fits my 5th gen perfectly. I thought I would switch between this and the normal smart cover when I didn’t need the keyboard, but I don’t actually do that. This one work so well and is comfortable for me to use and hold, even when it’s in its “flipped back” position, that I never found a real reason to switch between the two options. Here’s some general feedback:–Fits the 5th gen iPad Air, which is cost-saving–Does not require pairing or charging–Does not drain the battery (no noticeable difference at all with the battery)–has two positions you can set the iPad in when looking to type, straight up like a laptop or slightly angled. Sits well in both positions–Strong magnetic closures so it does not feel like it’s going to fall off, fall down, or dislodge. Even when you flip the cover closed abruptly–keyboard itself is covered with a very thin cloth-like material. I didn’t even notice it at first. But because it is fabric, it can’t possibly scratch the screen (also makes it easier to clean and wipe down, and there’s no spaces between the key and where the key sits for dust and particles to get lodged in between)Great value on this. Refurbished/Renewed was just as good as brand new. I would have had no idea this wasn’t a brand new item. Highly recommended for folks looking for a keyboard cover that is easy on the wallet and on the battery of your device.
