Nice upgrade from Gen 1
Bought this to replace my Gen 1 Apple TV 4K, as I read that the Gen 3 adds HDR10+ support to Youtube. I watch a lot of Youtube, and I have a nice Home theater setup, so for me this was desirable.Also, a few years ago my bluetooth keyboard would no longer work in the Youtube app on my Gen 1. I read this was because of how the app was programmed, and it could no longer use the system keyboard. This was one of those “worked yesterday and not today” situations that made no sense, and I was not happy because trying to search using the remote is a pain.Anyways, I am happy to report that now on this Gen 3 my bluetooth keyboard works just fine in Youtube! That alone is worth the upgrade for sure!

The best streaming device by far
Everything about the operation of this remarkable streaming device is seamless, intuitive, engaging and fun; in other words pure Apple. Having used nearly every other streaming TV interface, Roku, Google TV built into my previous Sony TV, and two stick devices from a certain major company (they invariably overheat & the picture begins to degrade after a year or so; I’m convinced it’s a case of planned obsolescence) nothing compares to the elegance of the Apple TV 4k 64k Wifi I just received & set up last night. I was able to easily add every app with proper credentials, including YouTubeTV, Prime, Max, Disney/Hulu, Paramount+, Spotify. The interface could not be more fun to use, intuitive, and downright brilliant.Using every function is far faster than any similar device due to its astonishingly powerful A15 Bionic chip. I’m running out of superlatives to describe this thing, and being a user of Windows, Android, and other platforms as well as Apple I can confidently state that nothing compares to Apple devices in terms of speed, ease of use, brilliance & simplicity of design, and every other metric.Just buy it.

Apple will never get 5 stars from me until…
Apple, as usual created a quality product that works well and can be the best at what it does. Its fast, has a good interface, and does what I need it to do. But I absolutely dispise Apple for the headache it is to get their products up and running if youre not an avid apple ecosystem user. I have so far spent an hour trying to get this thing up and running because of all the hoops you have to jump through. So far im stuck because one of the two apple accounts that I had to set up isnt coming through as valid so im stuck at the mercy of apple until they can tell me why iTunes doesnt want to approve my previously accepted information. Its a shame you have to deal with such a headache to get a quality streaming device. Until Apple can fix this nonsense I will never rate their products at 5 stars.

Better than all other streaming products
Iâve tried the firestick, Roku and none work as well as the Apple TV. The remote control is charged with a phone charger. Picture quality is very clear. Itâs nice and compact, no more big TV cable boxes! I love that I can use my iPhone as a remote control. You can even use your iPhone to find your remote if you lose it! It pings as you get closer to your remote, itâs a feature I use more than Iâd like to admit.
