DO NOT BUY APPLECARE+ THROUGH AMAZON
It seemed like a good idea to get the Applecare+ bundled with the iWatch I bought on Prime Day and initially it seemed like it was working. The recurring monthly payments were charged to my card for 5 months but then a week before my 6th month I got an Email from Amazon (yes the EMail was from Amazon – not a phishing Email) stating that I needed to reactivate my subscription before the next payment date in order to renew my subscription or it would be cancelled. The link to reactivate took me to the Manage Membership & Subscriptions page where the Applecare+ subscription was listed but no button/link/information on how to reactivate it. So I called Customer Support to get help and the representative accidentally cancelled my Applecare+ subscription then claimed he didn’t despite the fact that I got a cancellation EMail and it disappeared from the Manage Membership & Subscriptions page while we were on the phone. He then tried to brush me off by saying it may be a glitch and call back in 24-48 hrs. After he refused to let me talk to a supervisor I hung up and called back in. The 2nd representative tried to help and actually brought in a supervisor but in the end they had no way to undo the cancellation leaving me without Applecare+ after paying for it for 6 month and no way to buy it either through Apple or Amazon because the watch was now more than 60 days old. Don’t let this happen to you. You can buy the Watch on Amazon but then buy Applecare+ directly from Apple within 60 days.

Coverage Automatically Applies
There are a lot of reviews that say they cannot activate and that this is a scam. I figured I’d reply to let people know that the coverage automatically applies. As another reviewer mentioned earlier, if you go into your watch app on your phone, then click General, then About, then you see AppleCare+ which should have a date 2 years from purchase. You shouldn’t need to do anything.

Very good product . Would be nice if they included the charging block !
Love the watch ! However it is a big inconvenience to wait to give it as a gift to my daughter then she has to unplug her phone to use her plug âblock â to charge her watch and therefore she doesnât charge her watch so I had to purchase an apple block separately so she will charge it ! Hey Apple your not saving the plant your giving folks grief to just charge the watch ! Stop being cheap include your new charging block for the price we pay foe the watch ! Step it up Apple your better than that ! !!!
