Fixed the problem
I needed to cancel a subscription to AppleCare + that is being charged to my Prime card. The representative was pleasant and processed the cancellation.

Insanely worthless tech support
This review is for the tech support that comes with AppleCare+. I bought it along with my iPad Air 13. My first problem was that iTunes on my computer could not connect with my new iPad, despite the iPad and computer being connected by WiFi, BlueTooth, and the official USB cable that came with the iPad. I tried to get tech support directly from the iPad, but it told me that I did not have AppleCare+ and so I could not get support. I tried to confirm that they had my iPad correctly registered, but neither typing in my serial number manually, nor scanning it in with the iPad camera looking at the product sticker, worked. In both cases they said that my serial number was not registered with them, despite my having set up an Apple account directly from the iPad. I finally clicked the link to “Cancel AppleCare+”, and this got me a phone call from them trying to talk me out of canceling. I took the opportunity to explain my problem, and then I got a tech support person. The first thing the tech person did was tell me that because I had downloaded iTunes from the Microsoft Store instead of Apple they could not help me, because it was not an Apple product. I eventually managed to convince them, by reading the “About” section of Help to them, that iTunes is actually an Apple product that is just distributed by Microsoft. So then they agreed to hear my problem. After an hour and 45 minutes on the phone they gave up trying to fix it and transferred me to a more advanced person. I spent 30 minutes on the phone with them with no luck. Finally they advised me to call the manufacturer of my computer, because it was undoubtedly a hardware flaw. Funny that it had no trouble connecting to my girlfriend’s iPhone.Well, I gave up on that, but I then asked them about why my iPad says that I do not have a registered product, nor do I have AppleCare+. They checked on their end and confirmed that my iPad is indeed correctly registered with Apple, and they show that I have two years of AppleCare+. So why does my iPad say that I don’t have either? They have no idea. Tough luck. They have no phone number I can call for tech support. So I guess if I ever again need useless tech support, I’ll just have to start by saying that I want to cancel my subscription. I hope that still works. Not sure why, though, because they were completely unable to fix either of my two issues, even after nearly 3 hours on the phone.

AppleCare+ subscription activation? There is nothing in Memberships and Subscriptions about “activate”. I chased down all previous emails from Amazon regarding this item. Again, nothing about “activate”. At the bottom of the email was , which I did. The representative said that activating had to be done though Apple. I called Apple, their representative said that no activation was necessary, and everything was fine with my iPad’s AppleCare+ account. All this wasted 45 minutes of my time. I plan to file a complaint with Amazon. I hope this helps someone else.
I received an email from Amazon with the header < Amazon.com Subscription Ending Soon (Activate to Renew) > In the body of the email it says
