I bought this to replace an older feeder that sometimes jammed. This feeder is much better. I really like using the app and being able to program 6 settings. Relatively reliable
I love that each portion is approximately 1tablespoon and that I can adjust how many portions and how long between. In fact it even worked to add an extra portion when I was 3 miles away! Unfortunately, you do need to keep an eye on it if you only do one portion at a time. It has âskippedâ or stalled at least three times in the last 2 months. To fix this I lift the feeder and turn it upside down and put it back down, then I put 5 portions down. while it gives way too much food it seems to âfixâ the issue. So make sure you monitor your furbabies and the dispenser to ensure theyâre getting their food but itâs still relatively easy and itâs a decent price. Itâs also easy to clean. It hold a decent amount of food and has a desiccant holder to keep the food fresh.

Daughter’s Best Friend! NOT ANYMORE!!!
My daughter bought 1 for her cat that became a PERSISTANT early eater. She works nights and it worked great. She adopted a best little pal for her guy and needed another feeder so Grandma came to the rescue for the cutie & quite the chatterbox. It’s great, reliable and always on time.So along came little Winona, a sister for Cheezit. Of course Grandma had to buy Winona a feeder too. Grandma ordered it on SEPT 12, 2024. NOT EVEN 2 MONTHS LATER IT’S BROKEN. IT DOESN’T DISPENSE!!!!!For the amount of money I paid you’d think it’d be backed up for returns after a month. I’m stuck with a broken feeder. Amazon only does 30 day returns. I think for the amount of money I spent it should last longer than 60 days. That’s only 120 feedings. SHAME ON YOU AMAZON!!

Love it
Itâs a great feeder. I like that it dispenses when set, I like I get alerts for feedings and can see them eating. A couple of things I donât love- the setup to get the camera to scan the QR code on your phone was a nightmare and took way too long and too many tries and restarts. The amount of food dispensed per quantity isnât as precise as Iâd like it. It would be nice if the speaker had volume control. All in all I really do like it and it was great for vacation – even with a pet sitter- knowing they are being fed at the right time makes it less stressful.

Malfunctioning cat feeder
I bought this before goin on vacation at Christmas but didn’t have time to set it up. I finally set it up this week and it has only worked for one complete day. It keeps missing feedings so I have to do them manually and now it has completely gone offline. I’ll have to check it and see if it’s even worth the money.

Best feeder of 3 Iâve tried – until it jams
UPDATE: today my cat was really bugging me all day and I couldnât figure out why. At her evening feeding time I was near the feeder and nothing happened. I checked the app and it said that the feeding had occurred, but it had not. I then pressed the button in the app to manually feed, and it displayed a message saying it was feeding, but again nothing happened. I opened it and rummaged around in the âspoutâ where the food gets ready to be dispensed, and then it started working normally. This is really problematic – every other feeder Iâve tried will alert you if there is a jam and feeding isnât happening. I have no idea how many feedings she missed, and now Iâm not confident this will actually feed as programmed. And apparently thereâs no way to discover whether thereâs a problem unless you sit and watch whether itâs dispensing, which defeats the purpose. Itâs really frustrating – up until now this was the best feeder Iâd tried, but after only a few months, it seems unreliable.Original review:Iâve had 3 different automatic feeders for my very food motivated cat, and this has been the best one and the cheapest! The Wi-Fi and app control is a great feature that makes change the schedule really easy. My cat also needs to go on a diet because the last feederâs internal mechanisms broke down/stretched to create larger portions than intended. This one feeds about 1Tbsp at a time, so I can set it up to feed her tiny portions throughout the day so sheâs not hungry and (mostly) doesnât bother us for food. Iâve had it about a month and so far, zero complaints! (Also appreciate that it comes in blackâ¦)
