Only if you un normal or sport mode no manual.
These guards worked, to protect your drone only if you fly in Normal and sports mode. But If you like flying in full acro and making maneuvers like flips and rolls or even easy acro this will definitely affect your flight, I was trying ti figured it out why my drone was acting weird when I did some rolls I even crash once and right away I took them off I had not issues at all I was able to do really smooth rolls and flips. That’s the reason I’m giving 3 starts cause it work but only for normal and sport that’s it.

Great Protection
When using these i dropped my avata from crazy heights, bumped into obstacles at high speeds. The minute i took them off , same crashes bent the prop guards . People will tell you that the drone doesn’t fly right. I tried the acroflow ones that have a lower profile, and flying naked. If there is a difference i could not tell. The drone flies great with these.

I haven’t flown with these safety guards yet but they’re an excellent tight fit and I can see how they will absorb shocks if hitting something solid..they do protude in front of the camera slightly but just enough to give the gimbal protection but not encroach on the footage..I love them.

Nach den ersten beiden kleinen Crashes mit meinem Avata 2 war mir schnell klar, dass es ohne zusätzlichen Schutz für meine geliebte, agile FPV-Drohne schnell übel enden kann. Zunächst skeptisch und ganz ohne Lust auf zusätzliches Abfluggewicht suchte ich nach einem leichten, effektiven Protektor für den äuÃeren Rahmen der Avata, angedockt an die Prop-Guards. Auch langjährige FPV-Piloten schwören auf diese Art von Schutz, spätestens wennâs ans Fliegen im Manual-Mode (Acro-Mode) geht. Ein Muss, wenn einem das Leben der FPV-Drohne lieb ist.Der BRDRC Avatar 2-Propellerschutz versprach mit 42g Gesamtgewicht für beide Guards eine noch akzeptable Gewichtsbelastung und einen weichen, elastischen Schutzrahmen für das kleine fliegende Avata-Wunder. Ich war nach der Bestellung bis zum Ãffnen des Paketes schon gespannt was mir da wohl ins Haus flattert wird.Beim Auspacken dann die angenehme Ãberraschung: In der Tat wirklich Leichtgewichte die beiden Schutzrahmen, die sich jeweils extrem passgenau an die Prop-Guards der Avata anschmiegen und null Tendenz zeigen sich auch bei wildesten Flugmanövern auch nur einen Millimeter zu bewegen. Das geruchlose Material der Protektoren ist aus stabilem und elastisch-weichem Kunststoff. Das schont die Drohne und verspricht eine gute Crash-Dämpfung im Fall des Falles. Ich habe die anthrazit-farbene Variante gewählt (sehr ähnliche Farbe wie die Avata 2 selbst), sodass der Schutz kaum auffällt.Beim Fliegen bemerke ich keine Veränderungen des Flugverhaltens und meine Befürchtung das die 42g Mehrgewicht die Flugzeit verkürzen, hat sich nicht bewahrheitet.Fazit: Klasse Guards für die DJI Avata 2, tauglich für den harten Einsatz im Manual-Mode und ohne merkliche Beeinflussung des Flugverhaltens.Gruà aus HannoverG.
