Perfect if you want temp. control
Bought this for my indoor Chihuahua to lay on during the cold months of Alabama. I like this controlled heat pad bc I can set the temp level and if need be have it turn off after so many hours. I have full control over this heat pad. I have outside kitties that lay on a heat pad that has no control. I plug it in and it heats up and stays on until I unplug it. My Chi is different.

My cat loves it!
I placed this heating pad beneath my kitty’s favorite blanket and I think he slept on it all day. The controller allows you to adjust the heat level and select a timline to have it turn off. I really appreciate the timer feature so it doesn’t run continuously during the day when I turn it on in the morning.The default heat setting is the fourth level. It is barely warm below the default. I’ve been running it on the fifth level which is mildly warm feeling through the blanket. If you like to spoil your furry friend this will be a welcome addition to its favorite snoozing spot.

I love this heater. It’s perfect with many settings and a timer. It’s gets nice and warm so my stray outside can keep warm. I’ll probably get another! Highly recommend this heating pad!

On high will keep temperature in cat house at 54 degrees when outdoor temp is 52
Basically, it will keep the animal from freezing. So far it doesn’t seem to get hot while on the highest setting. I did test it at the lowest setting for 3 days, then bumped it up a notch at time and held it for 3 days. I have a small thermometer inside the enclosure with an external reader so I can see the inside temp and the outside temp at the same time. Basically, there are at least two cats out of five who use it when it’s cold out. This is set up in an out building in the Pacific Northwest. I’m not certain it would do much good in a colder climate.

Not very warm at all
This heated dog bed has multiple options on the remote such as time settings and 1-6 heat levels however it is NOT warm at all! The price point was decent but if I could influence you at all. Spring for the more expensive heating pads and get one that works much better.

Product is nice quality, but even on the highest setting, it doesnât get as warm as I would like. Manual says 80-110ish degrees. I think thatâs a stretch. Spend a little more and buy something else.
