Provides excellent back support!
This baby carrier is well made, the texture feels great on my skin as well as the babies. I recently tried a cheaper brand and baby developed a rash on his thighs and smell was awful. Because it’s padded it provides great support for those who suffer for chronic back pain. It is great for big dads, my husband is over 7 ft and weights over 250 pounds and he loves it, he enjoys using it for daily walks instead of using baby stroller. Judging on the quality and functionality I know I will be using it for many months perhaps until the baby turns 2 years old!!!!

Well… where do I start?
Baby Carrier Newborn to Toddler, Hip Seat Baby Carrier with Hood…I’ll start with the good. Baby carrier seems to be very well made, with many thoughtful details. Wide, nicely padded shoulder straps with removable soft covers; a good-sized sliding pouch on the waistband which is very wide, comfortable and adjustable; detachable ‘seat’ which is pretty solid for baby to sit upon and canted back a bit to prevent baby sliding off. All of the flaps and such have tie backs or snaps to keep them out of the way and just an overall good design.And the bad: Stinks something terrible – and I knew exactly which country it came from because everything from there has that same nasty, chemically odor. It will probably wash out with a good detergent and a couple of washings, though. Aside from that, I find it very disturbing that I was sent a returned item. Unceremoniously stuffed back into the box without a wrapper of any kind, and damaging the box when they tore into it. It happens but for something for a newborn?? You would think there would be more care taken. Lost most stars for being a reject and for the awful stench.If not for the last two points, I would highly recommend this item. It’s a shame. But if those two problems don’t put you off, it’s a pretty nice baby carrier.

To difficult to put on and doesn’t support well
Don’t waste your money on this, main problem is you can’t safely put it on by yourself. The one buckle that attaches it to you goes between your shoulder blades so you have to reach over your head and mess with trying to buckle it while baby is sitting on the hip rest. If you drop the straps while trying to buckle it baby could fall. So you really need another person to buckle it for you while you support baby. Once you get it buckled because the buckle is so high on your back all the weight is on your upper back,shoulder,neck. The hip seat puts more pressure on my hips than justholding my baby and the side support stabs me in the ribs. And lastly the seat is smaller than expected my 4 month feels almost to big to be sitting on the seat. I was just overall disappointed with this harness system.
