Incredible Diaper Bag!!
This diaper bag has an incredible number of well thought out feature: 6 interior pockets (2 zippered); an exterior pocket perfectly sized for a wallet or phone; removable straps to attach the bag to a stroller; USB and headphone plugs; an exterior pocket for wipes; exterior pocket for drink; insulated interior pockets for baby bottles along with extra space for snacks; a zippered compartment containing a pull-out bassinet (which can also be fully zipped off the backpack), with poles that go into small pockets to keep the bassinet fully expanded, a cover over the bassinet to shield a baby from sun and bugs; a zippered exterior pocket large enough for a tablet or small laptop, and another smaller zippered exterior pocket; and a small change purse.Workmanship of construction is high quality. The fabric is durable, the zippers have easy to grab leather tabs and all zippers work smoothly. The designer has thought of everything a parent would need to store in a diaper bag for a day out, and thought of every way a diaper bag could possibly be used. There are top straps for quickly grabbing the bag, backpack straps for wearing the diaper bag, and nice padded cushions for comfort.I have zero complaints or suggestions for improvement – love the bag exactly as it it and highly recommend it as a great value at only $40!

Upgraded design, lots of storage, hit/miss with the changing/bassinet
This is a slightly different design diaper backpack with a bassinet/changing area from a previous purchase, and an improvement. Hard to believe, this is a more stable design than another that I had. There is no lack of room in this backpack, with several inside zippered pockets, and the main bottle storage pocket on the front. I like the added stroller buckles – I don’t have to buy seperately to add to the bag as I had to do for the previous gifted one. (This will be a shower gift for a co-worker.) The little zippered pouch intended for a pacifer is nice but I’ll be adding silicone versions for easier cleaning. Still, that’s a nice little item to tuck ear buds, couple bills, gum, etc for quick access. It is missing a key clip, or at least mine is – something that does help. There is the usual USB cord to hook into a powerback then into your device. As other reviewers noted: This changing/bassinet & support items add a fair amount of weight to an already, slighty heavy backpack. The other issue: the changing area can be a pain to get set up and if not used, just deadwieght. It takes a little time to get it put together, and this is an issue when you have an unhappy little one. I have the pink/grey version but there are 6 colors available and I would go with a single color if ordering again. I’m not sure if my co-workers hubby will want to wear a pink/grey backpack but I figured they will most likely receive another, more “manly” version in the shower. Just a personal observation for my use: While the backpack diaper bag is easier than slinging the older “gym bag” shoulder strap version, sometimes I think the gym bag version was easier to get items in and out. My son is special needs and the backpacks weren’t not as easy to use with all his “stuff”. I often ended up having to almost empty the bag to get items out then back in, and it was a pain and embarassing. But as he got older and “stuff” slowly decreased to a more managable level, the backpacks were better. I still have both versions but generaly, it’s the backpack that is used.I have gifted one as a shower present, and kept one for myself. I found I didn’t use the changing area so put my sewing skills to used -you need to turn the bag inside out to do this and it isn’t easy. Ripped/dismantled the entire changing area, removed all the pieces, and still turned inside out – resewed the back panel to the rest of the bag, & turned it into a storage area. It isn’t huge but works great for papers and my tablet/smaller laptop but keep in mind there isn’t much padding. So for those parent who wished they could somehow remove the not used part – it can be done with patience.

Genius idea.
The Shengmeister Diaper Bag Backpack, with Large Capacity, and multipurpose Diaper Changing Station, is a game changer. I know i say that a lot in my reviews but it’s the truth. It’s one thing to have a Diaper bag with a changing blanket in it, it’s another to have a bag that expands into a diaper changing station. Having a true station is kay with a 4 month old. He’s small enough to fit inside and I can change him without going into the women’s room to use a changing table. I can easily change my son in the park on a bench without him rolling over.This is a wonderful shower gift. Or if you know someone who just had a kid, this is a great gift for them to have loaded up and ready for emergencies.
