I like the developmental features especially, the cloth book.
I like the size of the mat and the developmental features it has for babies. Especially, the little cloth book they can hold, or it can also dangle from one of the arches if you want. And I like you can practically put a newborn on the mat up to 18 months of age and they would enjoy it. I am a little confused about what the listing has on ages, however. It first says it is for 0-6 months of age but a couple of lines later it says it is for several different months going up to 18 months. I am sure it is up to 18 months of age. For the most part, it looks like the listing of it does. However, the thickness of the play mat isn’t accurate. In the listing, it looks pretty thick when in fact it might only be half that. It isn’t firm like you see in the listing. At least this one isn’t. I like that it was easy to assemble, and you can take the top off fold it up and put it away. I also like that you can take that top part off and wash it because with babies you know you are going to need to wash it. It says in the listing, “Our Montessori baby gym play mat is a thoughtful companion for a baby’s growth journey and a tool for endless parental bonding.” I know Montessori and how good they are with baby development. I am not sure how much they are involved or responsible with the making of this mat though because it doesn’t really say. But if they have made it or added to it that accounts for something in my mind. I like it and recommend it. I wish that the mat was as thick as I see in the listing though. But other than that, it looks the same. It could be for a male or female. Although, I see it as something that is more for a male baby but that is just preference.

Great baby mat
Love this mat. I really like the ocean theme they went with here and feel they executed it greatly. The carousel style fidget hangers are great and work well with the theme as well. The pillow is a great touch as well so you don’t have to have their head wresting flat on the mat. It’s been a great distraction and been a fun diversion when it’s been used thus far.

Good quality baby play mat
This baby play mat is super cute and it is great quality. It has toys that hang from the top so your baby has something to look at. It is pretty cushioned. It can also be used with or without the soft crossbars on the top.

Great for Sensory Play, But Could Be Thicker
The 8-in-1 design is great, offering lots of activities that keep my baby entertained during tummy time. I love that it’s washable because, let’s face it, babies are messy! The sensory toys and bright colors are perfect for motor development, and my baby seems to enjoy reaching for them. However, I wish the mat was a bit thicker. On hardwood floors, it doesn’t provide as much cushioning as Iâd like. Itâs foldable, which makes it easy to store or take on trips, and the overall quality seems solid.

What sets this playmat apart from others that I’ve have in the past is that this one comes with a tummy time pillow, which helps with strengthening baby’s muscles as baby grows.
