As an owner of two Cavapoos, I can’t recommend Benebones enough! We’ve purchased these several times, and they’re always a hit. They keep our pups busy for hours, providing them with mental stimulation while helping to settle them down when guests are over.Recently, we visited family, and they have a black lab who couldnât resist the allure of the Benebone either! As soon as he saw the benebone, he trotted over and started chewing away. These bones are a favorite among dogs of all sizes!The benebones can withstand even the most enthusiastic chewers. Plus, they come in various flavors.If you’re looking for a chew that your dogs will adore, Benebones are definitely the choice. Theyâve become a staple in our home.

Our dogs favorite chewies
We have two 1.5 year old pups and they LOVE these things. No matter how many shoes, stuffies, or other toys are available for them to chew on, they always come back to these. At all times, we have half a dozen of these laying about the house in various states of consumption. It’s entertaining to watch the dogs trade off and swap which version they are chewing on. I believe these have help reduce the amount of stuff they dogs have chewed on that they should not chew on. They would just rather chomp on these things. I love that these don’t leave residue on the carpet, they don’t break big chunks off that the dog can yak on, and they don’t stink, even when they have been munched on for awhile. Just watch out for when they get small enough that your doggo might try to swallow it. Benebone has a return program where they say they will recycle them into new chewies. We haven’t used that service and prefer to just toss them in the trash when they are too small.The only negative is that they can get a bit sharp on the sides and from time to time the dog will sit next to you and dig the sharp edge into your leg or foot while they are working the other side of the toy. They are also quite surprising to step on in the middle of the night.

Durable
My puppy loves these things and I love how long they’ve lasted. They keep her busy for about 20 mins at a time. I’ve purchased many chew toys that are marketed for aggressive chewers but these are the only ones still standing after 2ish weeks. She prefers the other one so it’s a bit more chewed up than the wishbone shaped one.I like these a lot because they’re safe enough for her puppy teeth but durable enough to not fall apart immediately. They’re fairly light and easy for her to hold in place with her paws.I gave it a 4 instead of a 5 because these are NOT EDIBLE. You must keep an eye on your very aggressive chewers because they will manage to chew small pieces of it off.

Not for aggressive chewers!
I purchased this dog bone because it was advertised as suitable for aggressive chewers, but Iâm disappointed with the misleading marketing. While the product claims to be for tough chewers, the companyâs website clearly states that itâs not edible. Thatâs a contradiction right there.My eight-month-old toy Australian Shepherd had chewed through the bone and started eating pieces of it within just two days. This has happened repeatedlyâIâve bought several of these, hoping for better results, only to have to throw them away when he starts consuming them. Iâm tired of wasting money on a product that doesnât live up to its claims.If the bone isnât designed to withstand aggressive chewing or isnât safe for ingestion, the advertising needs to be more transparent. I canât recommend this product for pet owners with determined chewers. Itâs frustrating and feels like false advertising.

All of the puppy products from this brand is amazing! I have a Do or mixed iwth Pom/chi. He inherited the tiny teeth and less jaw power of doxies and she can only use the puppy option. Sheâs 2,5 yrs old and 12 lbs. the size for tiny pulley under 15 lbs are actually sizable. She loves all of them, this one included. She chew them everyday and they last a while too. Itâs all Iâm buying with the occasional raw bone, when I can find them all enough for her. I think this would be great option for senior dogs too. I keep buying them as they work great, donât smell bad nor have dangerous bacteria as in raw bones. If you have a Pom or Chi, these would work well for them.

Update: Bought the other set as well in ‘Wishbone’ real bacon flavor, she loves those as much! The ‘Fishbone’ salmon flavor will be next purchase! So happy I found an alternative to raw bones where she can chew safely anytime.My dog is 2.4 yrs old (rescue/adopted 8 months ago), 12 lbs, 79% Doxie, rest is Pom/Chi mix *DNA tested!), she inherited her Pom/chi smaller nose, jaw and teeth as well as less jaw power, hence canât put a dent in the regular ones of anykind and loose interest. The puppy ones are perfect for her, she loves them and usually not very food/treat motivated, she chews on them everyday several times a day. I also buy the Nylabone Flexi in small or regular since they are softer but not as good as these. I was hesitating in buying these here as they look really hard but the puppy ones are also for tiny dogs and moderate chewers and seniors too! Iâm going to buy all the twin packs eventually.
