Optimized for Blink camera field of view
They angle of this Blink Corner Mount is PERFECT for mounting on a flat wall, with the intention of angling the camera to just catch one side of the wall and optimizing it’s field of view. With other corner mounts that offer “more angle” you won’t actually get any more coverage of a flat wall, rather, you will only get more coverage of the wall and less coverage of the activity in front of the wall. I’d go with THIS rather than the other corner mounts available that tout “more angle”. (maybe those others are more useful in specific situations, but if you want to mount on a wall next to your door, and angle the camera to catch one side of the wall plus as much coverage as possible in front of the wall, then this one has the Best Angle.) As far as how sturdy this mount is, it’s satisfactory, but certainly not “heavy duty”. It comes with two tiny screws for mounting the Blink Doorbell into this. You still need the Blink Doorbell’s two screws for mounting this into the wall (or mortar). Also, the Blink Doorbell doesn’t snap into this, but sort of sits on top of it, allowing air and water to drain and vent through it. That’s probably a plus as far as design feature, but doesn’t seem as secure as something that snaps into place.

Not a watertight fit
The bracket fit the existing holes fine but there isnât a seal where the doorbell sits on the bracket. Mine is under the porch but if we hose off the porch weâll need to protect the doorbell.

Doesn’t work great with other accessories
I got the door mount accessory that essentially prevents having to screw anything in. I wanted to adjust the angle as well for apartment hallway coverage and turns out you have to pick one or the other. So this corner mount would require using screws but can’t connect in with the door mount/frame. Wish I could use the two together.
