Bonus-no 3rd party app
3rd party app that can stop your device from working because it has to update and regroup your data in case it missed something. You may have to reinstall the device to get it working again. These are the simplest Plugs to install because Alexsa does everything for you and despite the use of Bluetooth, they work great. Out of 3 different plugs I own, I like this one the best. A 2-minute setup and you don’t mess with it again. Ignore the reviewers that tried to use the app on these, they did not understand the instructions. It’s simple, ask Alexsa to find devise and she takes care of it. I recommend you buy this one and don’t clutter your Phone with another 3rd party app that wants your information. ALEXSA ONLY. ECHO DOT/POP. Out of 10 of these I have, I had to ask Alexa twice to find 2 of them. Thats okay I am kind of used to asking Alexa twice. No problem ounce Alexa finds them. Even if you set them up on one Alexa they will work off the bluetooth of another Alexa. They should be in the same room as Alexa since they use the nearest Alexa device for bluetooth. Have had to reinstall other plugs but not these. They only stop working when the internet is not working.

Wont connect to echo dot or amazon ap
Just like the other reviews, the simply wonât connect. All the vine free reviews were obviously sent something else. I tried it with an iPhone, and I tried it with my echo. Dot, and nothing would connect. I tried all four plugs that I received, and none of them worked. Stay away and go buy a real smart plug.Also, there is a difference between âAlexa Compatibleâ like it says in the description and âAmazon Echo device requiredâ. That it says on the box. Stay away

They work but is not easy
I really had a hard time making this to work. after reading a lot and because this critical information is just mentioned in one of the pictures in amazon but nowhere in the user manuals. the fact that only works with wifi 2.4Ghz and not being conscient that my router only was accepting connections with wifi 5GHz was doing the error, once I was able to setup the correct dual band on my router and connect all the bulbs and these plugs with the correct wifi frequency they stopped disconnecting and work faster.The fact that sometimes connects, disconnects, are paired, take a long time responding it’s just because is not using the correct setup of the router.

Use the Alexa discover setup!
Do not follow the written directions in the box. Just use Alexa to discover new devices, and set up as a piece of cake. However I ordered two boxes that each contained four plugs. One plug out of each box proved to be defective. So the quality is questionable, but for now everything that did set up properly is working as designed. I could not find a way to contact the seller to try to work this out, and I really hate living a bad review but it is what it is.
