True to size, black is a darkish grey which goes well with the light grey cat tree posts I am replacing. Holding up well so far with two cats. Happy with purchase.

These are good quality and don’t make a compete mess when scratched. No chemical smell (no odor at all) and were a direct replacement.

But my wife loves her cat. As far as cats go, he is pretty cool. He tore up the ropes off his cat tower that’s cooler than any fort I ever had as a kid. Instead of just re-wrapping with rope, my wife decided to replace the post altogether. Good call! These things are sturdy and were a great replacement for the original posts. The hardware was different size, so we had to adjust accordingly.

Great option for replacing worn out legs without replacing entire cat tree
Love these! They worked great to replace the legs on my cat tree. The rest of the cat tree was in good shape but my cat had really scratched the bottom legs to death. I ordered these in white and they match my beige cat tree perfectly. My cat was scratching them again within minutes.
