Product is as shown and intact. The way it pours is the same as others mentioned, similar to a soy sauce bottle which means it can pool and pour from the edge and not from the center as you might expect at first glance. It can take time to remember and get used to this, but I don’t have trouble if I’m careful to pour the right amount into a 1/8th teaspoon for a cat. No strong rejection from the cat with this added to her food though. The fact that other pet products with this oil did get strong cat reactions is what makes me wonder but I have no way to really know how fresh the product is, we can only hope, and it will be a while before I see the benefits. No immediate negative reactions though where some milk thistle products have made cats want to throw it up immediately, with this one she doesn’t really care as long as the food itself is tempting.

We ordered this 100ml bottle of organic milk thistle oil from Boosie for Yogi, our 13 year old Turkish Van cat. His long, fluffy coat has a tendency to become knotted as heâs not big on grooming or being groomed. He doesnât seem to notice a small drop (the recommended dose is 2ml) on his wet food, eating as well as ever, and after a couple of weeks his scruffy coat does seem to have more of a sheen.

We wanted to try the Milk Thistle with our elderly kitty, a ânaturalâ supplement to help boost his health and potentially improve his coat. The required dosage was somewhat tricky, how do you measure the very specific 1/8th of a teaspoon? The bottle neck has a rubber inner designed to slow the liquid as it leaves the bottle, unfortunately it does not create a drip so the liquid (consistency of water) still pours out. Trial and error… and it may be total coincidence but after a few tiny daily doses our cats’ stools have been slightly softer than usual; Keeping a check on that. *I have a similar designed bottle for his daily thyroid medicine but the seal is tighter so the liquid does not come out without using a ml syringe, much easier to dose and no spills. As with most supplementary products (for human or animal) itâs tricky to gauge efficacy but as a natural product touted to aid general wellbeing and liver function, we hope to see a result, most noticeable in the general condition of his coat; how long that takes is like the proverbial piece of string, thus difficult to accurately rate.Positive, our senior cat has ingested this supplement on his wet food with no apparent distaste, slight negative the administration is not straightforward and can be messy.
