Best Hair Removal Method I Have Tried
I am in love with this product. I didn’t even know such a thing existed until I went to look for a new electric facial hair trimmer after my last one broke. I have done so many different kinds of hair removal; for reference I have black, thick hair on my legs and underarms, and it grows very quickly. I also have very sensitive skin, so can’t shave every day or else I will get razor burn. Not to mention, who has time to do that kind of shaving every single day? I’ve tried Nair and Veet, and that stuff is a joke. For vacations I would go get my legs waxed, just so that I didn’t have hair showing within 24 hours of shaving. But that gets expensive. I have had a few treatments of laser hair removal on my bikini line, but that is SUPER expensive.I read through quite a few reviews for this, and thought I would give it a try – what could it hurt? (Other than the obvious pain) I followed the advice of another review that said to shave the hair down and then use the Epilator every few days/weeks as the hair grows back in. This, I believe, cut down on the pain factor a LOT. I use it dry, too scared to try to use it in water. The first time was pretty painful, not going to lie, especially for my underarms and bikini area, but I don’t believe it is any more painful than getting waxed. My biggest concern was ingrown hairs, and while I have had a few, it’s no more than I normally get from shaving/waxing. There’s something oddly satisfying about using the Epilator now – I know, weird. I’m still in my first couple months using it, but I’ve only had to use it about once a week the last couple weeks now for random growth. I’m confident the longer I use it the less often I’ll need it. As a person who avoids shorts and swimsuits all summer due to hair grown, I’m actually excited about next summer and not having to worry about it as much. 100% recommend.

Where has this been all my life?
Iâm with the reviews that say where has this been all my life. Yes it hurts but i like that it lasts longer. And itâs a pain you can acclimate to. i do one leg at a time. It does seem to hurt more if the hair is longer so shave it down and then wait for the hairs to start regrowing and do it. I do get red bumps from doing it so Iâll do it at night and put aloe vera on and itâs gone by morning. Itâs been wonderful for my face and legs. I donât have that constant anxiety of did i pluck or shave my face everyday. And when i do forget the hairs that regrow arenât as bad.

If you like pain, use it
I bought this because I saw a couple of YouTube videos with people saying that the pain is doable. No it ainât! Those people are lying to you.I started with my legs. Jesus! Itâs hurt. I had to turn on an episode of Dateline crime video to attempt to distract me from the pain. There were times when a hair was pulled from the root and I felt a pinch on my lower pack and heart. It hurt! After removing hair from my legs for about two months, the pain has gone down slightly, but it still hurts.I also removed the hair from my armpits. I was shaving everyday and I was tired of having to do this task every morning (I am a hairy gal). I had to have my husband stretch my skin and help me through this pain. I only removed 1/2 of the hair on my left armpit and less than 1/3 of my right armpit. I cried as I heard the Braun epilator turn on. This was torture. I gave up, shaved the rest of the armpits and had a weird hair patch going because some was epilated the rest shaved. Some good news: I now epilate 100% of my armpits. Here is what I did: I epilated while taking a hot hot hot shower. The hot water made it easier to remove the hair because my skin was getting burned by the boiling water. It works. I donât have to shave anymore. I epilate once a month. It hurts. You have been warned.

Best personal hygiene, product I have ever purchased!!
I have been hairy my entire life. Fortunately, I am blonde and still at the age of 58. My body hair is still quite light. It hasnât, however gotten a whole lot less as Iâve aged.I have tried everything my entire life! In my 20s, I purchased the first epilator that was a coil that ripped the hair out of your skin and was the most painful experience ever. After several tries, I passed it on to a friend who passed it on to a friend, who no doubt threw it away. From shaving, using Nair to salon waxing, and 2 failed attempts at professional laser treatments a decade of technology improvements apart, nothing has minimized my problemâ¦â¦Until now! After reading multiple reviews for several brands, I decided it was time to give this decadeâs epilator a try. As soon as it arrived, I eagerly charged it. The booklet is a little bit confusing on trying to figure out which head to use or if, but sitting with the pieces and the diagrams in front of me, I figured it out.Day, one was an hour long session, tackling my arms and legs. There is a little sting at first, but I was so excited by how effective this is that I stopped noticing.Day two I tackled my armpits and bikini area. Again, a little uncomfortable with the under arms, but it took very little time to complete and absolutely no hair remaining. This is day three and I spent about 10 minutes going over little spots that I may have missed during the first pass. Itâs still showing green positive sign for the charge. My skin is baby soft with absolutely no regrowth stubble anywhere after three days.I canât tell you enough how totally shocked I am by the performance and minimal discomfort this epilator has caused. I wish I had known about this sooner. This is a life changer, and anyone that has battled a hairy body like I have shouldnât even debate! The fact that I wonât have to shave or cream my arms every three months has given me so much confidence. I will update in the future if my opinion or results change but this Braun epilator and I have a date once a week for 10 or 15 minutes to maintain the work I completed today. Oh, the money I couldâve saved over the years had an epilator of this quality been available.

Jennifer Connolly talked about it on her Blog, she said she loved it so I took her word for it and bought it. I have not regretted that decision. If I had a negative on any part of it, it would be in the instructions showing you how to put it together for different uses. I found if confusing and had my daughter help me, it took her a few minutes to ‘sort out’ the way each photo is numbered and shown.
