It worked well for a while
I have used this dimmer for about 2 weeks. So far it works as described.Edit 25DEC21: The dimmer stopped working today. The lights are on 100% when plugged in. Dimmer function not working. Off switch not working. Must unplug to turn off. Bought it in May 2021, so I got 7 months out of it. The description says it has a 3 year warranty. Iâll make a warranty claim if I can figure out how and let you know how that works out.

Awesome for controlling dimmable LED Christmas lights.
While a bit pricey, we use these (2) to control both our tree and garland strings. Each controls six, 25 ft. strings of LED lights. Makes it easy to (lazily) turn on and control the brightness of our garland around the rail on our second floor. Remote is good for about 10 ft. or so. It is very nice to be able to dim these lights to the exact brightness you want– maybe full blast during the day, and 50% (or whatever you like) at night.

I bought this because my old dimmer didn’t work for the new LED lights I bought for my Christmas tree. This is “Suppose” to work for LED light only. Well it doesn’t. It works on the old Incandescent lights, but not on the LED’s. Soooooo my search continues.

I found my string lights on my front porch and my deck to be so bright that it was like daylight. This is the perfect solution. I can dim the lights to a level where are you can see but thereâs a little bit more mood lighting.
