AOQEE 2K Solar Camera: A Surprisingly Good Buy
I’ve been using this camera for a while now, and I’m seriously impressed. Especially considering the price, it’s a steal!I needed a camera to keep an eye on my patio door, but I didn’t have a power outlet nearby. A detachable solar panel wasn’t an option because of my HOA rules. And to make things even tougher, my wife’s got a ton of plants and trees, so finding a spot with direct sunlight was a challenge.I finally settled on a spot under the covered part of my backyard. I figured the sun’s angle would give me about an hour and a half of direct sunlight each day, but I wasn’t sure if it would be enough. Even so, I decided to give it a shot.The camera itself is really well-built. It’s all metal, heavy, and has a built-in solar panel on top. The mounting bracket is super sturdy too. Setup was a breeze using the app on my phone. It took me less than a minute to get it connected to my Wi-Fi.I was surprised by how well the solar panel worked. I spent a month on vacation, and the camera never ran out of battery. Even with some cloudy days, it kept going. In fact it is almost a week I’m back and so far it is still going, no need to recharge the battery, just solar power !The image quality is 2K, which is good enough for me. I don’t need 4K or 8K just to watch my door. Plus, the night vision is surprisingly good. It can easily illuminate the area around my door from a distance.Overall, I’m really happy with this camera. It’s a great value for the price, and it does the job perfectly.Iâve attached some pictures to show the image quality, the zoom capability and the night vision.The first one is the normal door view, the second showing the digital zoom and the third the night vision (the light on the window is the night vision of another camera I have)

The camera quality is awesome, and setting it up was super easy right out of the box. The built-in lights are surprisingly bright for how small they are and the camera has decent battery life. I like that you can charge them with a USB-C cable or solar power. One thing that bothers me, though, is that for the price, they really should include an SD/TF card since you need one for local storage. (I got the 4 pack) Another drawback is that unlike the other cameras iâve bought from this brand that support ONVIF and RTSP (so you can connect them to local software), these donât. The app is pretty solid, so itâs not a huge deal, but still a bit annoying. On the bright side, the mount makes it easy to get the perfect angle, and the night vision is pretty decent. Overall, itâs a great camera with a few minor quirks.

Who would have thought that I would LOVE these cameras… First of all… these cameras are not EXPENSIVE… so automatically I was skeptical on the quality… Since I was not convinced this is the product for me.. I took one camera from the bunch and connected one to my wifi and placed on my back patio, in the sun, facing my back door… I will say, I do have great wifi coverage right outside of my home… (this plans a big deal on connectivity reliability).. I was able to get and keep a wifi connectoin on my back patio.. The quaility of the image is AWESOME… and the powering via solar makes it even more reliable… While it still run a battery, there is enough solar charging to keep the camera going…. I have been able to keep a eye on my back doggie door during the day AND night (with nighttime color, I can tell WHICH cat is entering /exiting (have 2 cats that look alike in Black and White, but very obvious when in color)….. (making sure only my dogs/cats use the door, and not a stray or “other” animal… So great charging and stays going via solar… this is a no brainer.. worth the buy! Cameras for home security? YES!! Cameras for home security on a budget? YES! You will not regret the purchase!!

-Emballage bien conçu, dans la boîte la caméra, un câble usb, les vis de fixation et un support.Facile à installer, il suffit de percer suivant le gabarit fourni.-La connexion au wifi 2,4ghz est très facile via lâapplication wanswiew. Pour ma part jâai réussi via le QR code. Je vous conseille de charger dâabord la caméra avec le câble usb fourni.La qualité de la vidéo est vraiment très correcte,la vision nocturne est très bien. Tout est paramétrable facilement, ainsi que pour le son quâon peut écouter et où on peut parler aussi.-Les alertes de mouvement aidés par lâAI sont parametrables pour capturer de près ou de loin.On peut les enregistrer sur une carte mini sd ou sur le Cloud (avec un abonnement) . Jâai mis une carte de 128 go sans problème, jâai des enregistrements de 10 secondes des quâil y a un mouvement.-En résumé, pas cher , facile à installer et à paramétrer, vidéo de très bonne qualité, que lâon peut visionner sur un smartphone en 4 ou 5 g et wifi , avec application wanswiew. La charge via le panneau solaire fonctionne correctement, pour lâinstant je ne suis pas descendu en dessous de 95 %.Idéal pour les endroits où il nây a pas descendu prises et on est indépendant du circuit électrique en cas de coupure!Je recommande à 100%

This is my second solar powered camera so already have the Wansview App setup on my phone to easily add this second camera, the S1 unit is different from my other camera because it has the solar panel built into the top of the unit, it’s more compact and far easier to install, the view is fixed as I only need it to cover the rear garden area.The S1 has been fitted for almost 2 weeks in a fairly shaded corner of the garden, very little sunlight as itâs been miserable and cold lately and the lowest I’ve seen the battery is 94%.From taking it out of the box to installing and connecting to the Wansview app took me about 30mins â so easy and very happy with the quality of the camera images, sound, lights, alarm⦠All checked and working perfect.

Cámara con apariencia muy sólida y una placa solar de materiales y terminación singular y resistente. Aguanta la baterÃa muy bien sin problemas de momento. La configuración desde wansview, como siempre, muy sencilla. Habra que ver cómo se comporta en envejecimiento del plástico en la intemperie y la estanquidad. La calidad de la imagen bastante buena. Tiene funciones de detección de presencia y añade sirena. Añado el 4 de enero 2025..Después de varias semanas a la intemperie y con mal clima, el comportamiento de la cámara es excelente, la baterÃa se mantiene perfectamente al 100%, por la noche, si accedes a la cámara baja ligeramente, pero por el dÃa, aún nublado, carga muy bien. Un detalle más que observé de la baterÃa, es que al conectarla el primer dÃa se mantuvo en el 80% varios dÃas y luego cargó completamente…
