I need 2 because both cats want to be in it at the same time!
One of my cats watched me assemble and install the bed and was in it as soon as I finished. It took about 5 minutes to assemble and attach to the desk top. I got it in hopes of keeping my cats off of my desk or lap while trying to work. It works! Yes, my desk is a mess, but the boys keep moving things to the floor!

Extremely sturdy and already a popular sleep spot!
My cats love to sleep on my laptop so this desk bed looked like a great idea. And, it absolutely is!! The reason for 4 stars is because in complete embarrassment, I really struggled to put it together! First, I tried to install it on a side table in my office. The desk bed is simply too heavy and the table kept tipping. OOPS! I guess that’s why it’s advertised for a heavy desk (or similar). I take the blame for that experiment! You can see the weight of just one of the arms is ~2.5 lbs in my photos. This weight appears necessary for the design, and isn’t really “heavy” but when trying to put the bed together, it added a challenge for me. I struggled inserting the bracket arm (sigh) as it didn’t slip down the main pole easily at all. In the photos, they show it connected in the middle. I couldn’t get it that far down. Oh well. The tool included was just OK so inserting the 2 bolts to attach the bed floor was also not as easy as anticipated. I’m definitely not the best with handyman tasks, but this shouldn’t have been so exhausting! All this aside, installed on my desk as intended, the cats think it’s PURRfect. Cat are funny in that you can set up something new in the house thinking the cats won’t discover it without your help, and voila! Kitty tester already in action. I found Lucca in the bed this morning. 🙂 I DO recommend this desk bed. It’s exceptionally great quality & very sturdy. It was built to last! It’s clever in that you can adjust the bed, rotating it around. I love that the bed is machine washable and it’ll be easy enough to slip in a heated pad. (I got the model without one.) 2 paws up but perhaps find a helper if putting stuff together isn’t a strength for you either. 🙂

Works great
I got this perch for my cats. As you can see if my pictures they’ve really enjoyed it. I fastened to a book case so they could look out the windows and nap. The perch was easy to assemble. It’s sturdy and has stayed in place. I’m very happy with it and so are my kitties 🙂

love having this for my office! My cats love to get right in front of me (on my keyboard, trackpad, etc) when I’m working, so this has been great – they feel like they’re getting their way but they’re not in mine lol.
