Great for dumb cats
I never write reviews. When I saw this product I was skeptical but I needed a cheap toy for my roommates cat. After opening this product her cat played with it for hours and then again that morning. He is not very food motivated so I didnât add treats but overall I think if your cat doesnât need extreme things to entertain them, this will be hours of fun. Also I will say he is in his teenage stage of life so he will try to destroy anything.

My kitten loves this! We measure out his hard food into this toy two times daily. Sometimes he goes through it fairly fast, but mostly he just eats a few kernels, when he chooses. A great option for food motivated felines.

Worthless
I have a 1yr old Maine Coon/Rag Doll Mix Breed and a 2mo old Maine Coon kitten. Neither one was even remotely interested in this toy. I spent several intervals of 20-40 minutes playing without any interaction from either of my cats. They just looked at me like I was just wasting my time, which I was.Waste of money!

Toy didnât hold up
The toy stem was very flimsy and broke within a couple of days of the cat playing now he wants nothing to do with it so just wasted money. . The interchangeably tops were a great idea but the stem being so flimsy it was difficult to get on and off without concern of breaking. In the end, it i didnât break the stem but it was the cat that broke itâ¦

It’s a nice toy with limitations
I got this for my cat to play since he’s alone at home. Overall, he plays with this from time to time but definitely not very often. When I first got it, I tried to put some treats in it. However, the dispensing hole is not large enough to let treats out. So, it was sort of useless. You may try to get smaller treats. I am planning to put some catnip to see if it’ll be effective.

The cats loved it. It functions as it says. But with 3 kittens it didnât take them long to bend the spring for the stick. It still keeps them occupied but would be better if there was a more durable spring. Very happy with it otherwise.

Iâve got 4 cats, so keeping them entertained can be a challenge. Two are highly food motivated and two are not (and are also quite shy) – so this toy was definitely NOT a hit with the shy, less food motivated cats. It makes quite a bit of noise while being batted around, so they high-tailed it upstairs and hid from the chaos (despite the presence of treats).It WAS more popular with my other two cats. Highly food motivated and inquisitive, they took turns batting and nudging this thing all over the kitchen until it was empty. Unfortunately that didnât take long⦠the lack of adjustability in the treat dispenser means that treats either donât come out at all, or fly out like confetti. Finding perfect sized treats is akin to finding the holy grail⦠itâs just not going to happen. However, Iâve since discovered that a strategically placed piece of duct tape can improve the enjoyment factor of this toy quite a bit, if youâre willing to fiddle a bit.Overall, it needs a treat size adjuster to be useful – but once you solve that problem, braver cats will love it! It is a bit daunting for shyer cats though. Iâm giving it 3 stars. Itâs easy to assemble and fill. I didnât really have to *clean* it, per se – I just wipe it out with a damp cloth and that seems fine. And itâs standing up to quite a bit of abuse so far. But it really needs to be adjustable for treat size.

This is super simple to fill and doesn’t require any “setup” so to speak, unlike other puzzle toys. My cats both seem to enjoy it, and while they were able to figure out quickly how to get the treats out, it’s tricky enough that it’s not just a continuous treat dispenser! Even after they’ve figured it out they still have to bat at it a number of times before they hit it just the right way and treats fall out the hole. For $16 I think this is a great little toy to try out!

If your cat is one who likes to play, this could be a good toy for them.It features:- A removable wand style tassel on top,- 2 marbles that roll around the center of the toy (these can’t be removed),- A weighted base that keeps it upright,- And the ability to fill the middle with treats.The removable wand toy on top attaches to a spring allowing it to bounce around when you cat plays with it. The treats fall out of a very small hole and the cat has to work at playing to release them. The 2 marbles just roll around the device in their own little track.The reason for 4 stars is due to the fact you have to feed the treats thru the small hole, there is no other way to fill it up that I can find.Overall, it is interactive if your cat plays with it and it does automatically return to the upwards position.
