I really like this product. This product is amazingly well-made, well-designed, and easy to clean.. It’s easy to fill, easy to program and has a great variability. I tried the ice packs for a day, and it kept my food, cool, and fresh for the dogs. I also got the addition of the stainless silver inserts, and would highly recommend them. They are individual stainless steel inserts, and it makes it much easier to fill, rearrange in the holder, and clean.It did not take my dogs long to learn to use it, or what the turning sound meant.When you have multiple meals in the container, they can smell them, and my dogs were very curious about trying to get into the other meals. My dogs are small. If you have large dogs, they might be able to break in.My only CAUTION is, this may not be good for multiple dogs. I have two litter mates. They get along very well. However, this caused them to exhibit food aggression. The primary problem is no matter how you set the clocks, the units do NOT open at the same time. That made my larger of the two siblings be able to get to one unit, eat the food, and then go guard the other unit until it opened 15 seconds later. So, the smaller of the two dogs didn’t get food. (I was very careful, and had both units programming at the same time; hitting the buttons on both units at the same time, to make sure they were synced.) After resetting it multiple times, I had to give up. If your animals occupy separate rooms when you’re gone, you would be fine.So, despite the fact that I couldn’t use them for my dogs, if you have one dog, or if you have 2 dogs that are not particularly food motivated, they would probably work fine for you.

This product met all my requirements; easy to use, easy to clean and reliable for feedings of wet food at set intervals. I have a small dog with digestive issues and she requires small feedings of wet prescription dog food several times during the overnight. It has not failed to deliver during the 2 months that I have been using. The ice packs are a necessity when trying to keep the food fresh in the compartments and they stay cold for many hours. I like how easy it is to fill at night and clean up the next morning with the plastic tray where the food is kept. She has not been able to get into the covered compartments with the one piece lid and has not been able to cover it up with her crate fleece when her stomach is telling her food is a bad thing because of it’s size. I do have a large sized crate and there is enough room for our 8 lb dog to lie down comfortably and for this unit to sit in the corner. This close setup also lets her know when the next compartment is being rotated so she can eat. It does make a small noise when rotating and may wake some people if used during the night in the same room. I have learned that the batteries can jar lose if for instance, it drops off of the top of the crate, where I keep it during the day. However setting it up again is simple. 5 compartments are available (1 immediate feed and 4 timed feedings.) I do not have a dog which chews and those who do may have to weigh whether their small dog would chew up the plastic lid trying to get at the food in the compartments. My dog sniffs earnestly for a few minutes trying to get at the food when I first put it in the crate and then lets it go. This feeder has saved my sanity in that I no longer have to set alarms to get up to feed her during the night. Great product at a great price. I hope the longevity of the rotating mechanism is equally as good.

I have used this twice now and is perfect when you are going away for 3/4 days. It is really handy and a great idea. Good quality and I like the idea of the ice blocks inside. Easy to set the timer too.

Przyzwyczaił się bardzo do tego urządzenia i obecnie pilnuje stałych pór karmienia. Na początku usiłował się dobrać do schowanych przegródek, bo czuł zapach jedzenia z nich, ale po jakimś czasie zrezygnował i biegnie do karmidła tylko gdy usłyszy dźwięk. Jeszcze nie używałam latem, więc nie wiem, jak będzie sprawować się wkład chłodzący. Na razie zimą używam bez niego. Wspaniałe, wspaniałe urządzenie dla właścicieli kotów (lub innych zwierząt), którym trzeba wydzielać porcje jedzenia pod naszą nieobecność.
