Best case for AirPods
My first catalyst case lasted 3 years and rubber with hook broke. This is my 2nd case, there is nothing better! Fits snug, easy to roll top down to remove, when you roll it back itâs secure. I love the glow in dark. Use this daily and never worry about my AirPods being safe and secure.

Protective, durable, and minimal
I previously had a case on my AirPods Pro 2 with a magnetic lid. It was supposed to prevent the AirPods from popping out of their charging case when dropped. It didnât work. Iâm not a fan of cases with front flaps or buttons so I decided to try this one from Catalyst.This case is highly protective and makes it impossible for the AirPods lid to open when dropped. It takes an extra second to open the lid, but itâs fine. Wireless charging still works though MagSafe and using an Apple Watch puck do not (a flat laying MagSafe charger will work). The case is a little too thick for the MagSafe magnets to work.You still have easy access to the USB C (or Lightning in older AirPods Pro units) charging port. Catalyst claims that this case adds water resistance protection. Itâs not something Iâve tested but I could see it. The USB C case for AirPods Pro 2 is already water resistant.You do lose access to the lanyard holes but the case comes with a sturdy loop and solid carabiner. The speaker is still easy to hear for charging and location sounds and the charging light ones through. Thereâs also access to the reset/pairing button on the back.I highly recommend this case to anyone wanting a slim yet protective case that will ensure their AirPods donât fly out of their case when dropped. Itâs a smooth rubber that doesnât stick to the inside of my pocket and the glow in the dark case will illuminate for quite a bit of time after being exposed to artificial light (it really glows when set out in the sun for a few seconds).

Great case and I love the clip
I love the functionality of this and I also love the red color so I can find it quickly if itâs in the bottom of my bag! The one thing that was not great is the way that you have to roll down the top in order to get your AirPods out⦠I wish it could simply function without rolling down the silicone, but you do get used to it. All in all pretty great product.

Durable case
This is my second AirPod pro case from this brand! First one lasted approximately 2 years before the material holding the carabiner finally gave. I put my cases through a lot.Protects wonderfully against sand particles from getting in while at the beach. Makes great contact with wireless chargers. I accidentally left my headphones clipped to my jeans and put them through the washer.My headphones weren’t affected, so the water resistant statement seems to be true.This case material is a little more stiff when folding down to retrieve your AirPods out than I remember my first case being (ordered from Apple). However, this is not a concern or issue. Just an observation. I believe it just contributes to the different kinds of protection. Probably will loosen up a little after use.

Great protection for AirPods
I purchased this particular case because it offered protection for the AirPods while preventing the lid from coming open when dropped. Other cases with similar features require part of the case be taped to the lid and add bulk. Having both accidentally dropped my AirPods in a puddle since getting this case I can confirm that it protects and keeps the earbuds dry.As a side note I got the glow in the dark case and it makes finding my AirPods at night a breeze.

I bought this case for my wife this year as she previously purchased this case for for our daughter’s Airpods Pro. The case keeps the headphones secure when the case is dropped. This easily solves the problem of other clamshell-type cases that do not have a secure closure. When dropped in other cases (or outside of a case), the headphones invariably launch out of the caseâoften in separate directions and quite far away. The watertight seal protects from spills and the carabiner allows you to clip it to a bag, backpack, purse, belt loop and more.If I were to gripe at all, it would be nice if Catalyst offered more colours. But that certainly doesn’t detract from the function.
