This really works!
We have one cat that likes to gobble her food and then throw it up This would happen several times a week. Since we received the puzzle bowl, she has had to eat more slowly and so we have not had to clean up a mess since January 11th.It works so well, we have purchased another one for when we are on vacation. It is beautifully designed and well made. Definitely a value for the money and a great idea!In addition to the puzzle bowl, our vet recommended we use a cat food for sensitive stomachs rather than the hairball formula we were using to solve the problem.

Works well to slow my cat down while eating
I had the plastic version of this dish so decided to upgrade since plastic can give cats acne and this could go in the dishwasher. The quality is good, nice and heavy. I don’t feel like it will chip easily and it will definitely slow him down. Only down side is that the plastic version the contours of the bowl look like fish and it’s really cute. I guess they couldn’t or didn’t want to take the time to do that with the ceramic version. I assumed the contours were fish as well but on receiving the bowl they look like pickles! Not that the cat cares so it still works fine. Just not as cute as the plastic version. Will keep it bc it is nice and sturdy and love that I can throw it in the dishwasher!

Update: The seller contacted me to resolve these issues after I posted my review, so I’ve added another star to reflect high-quality customer service. I also wanted to clarify that I think slow feeder bowls are inherently frustrating for many cats, especially cats that love food and prefer to eat very quickly, so when I say that my cats hate them, that means the bowls are working as intended! I also love that these bowls are ceramic, lead-free, plastic-free, and dishwasher-safe. Overall a good pick if you need to curb “scarf and barf” behavior.My cats hate them, but theyâre good quality overall. Easy to clean, decent quality. They slow my cats down a lot, and they are heavy enough to stay putâthe cats canât flip them over. The catsâ faces donât fit into the outer grooves, so they have to really work for it. They get frustrated and cry, but they use their paws to get kibbles out. Thereâs a lot of food waste if you use these for wet food, but they work for dry food. Unfortunately, they are hard to store since they are not really stackable. I can loosely stack them, but they are wobbly, so I wouldnât want to stack more than two. This might not be an issue if you have enough storage space. Nice bowls overall- they serve their purpose, but I avoid using them because the kitties get so frustrated.

Perfect for slowing down eating and easy to clean.
Both of our cats get way too excited at dinner time, and we were exhausted with cleaning up their vomit that they conveniently LEFT the tile floor to execute on our carpet. These bowls work perfectly for diced wet food (a lot of other slow wet food feeders are more for pate style). They’re also very easy to clean. They are heavy so they don’t slide around.

Not the best design
This does help with slowing down eating but my cat seems to have a hard time getting all the food out of the bowl, there’s always a good amount leftover. I have a couple other feeder bowls he has a much easier time with. Wish I wasn’t past the return window.

I can see the advantage already just watching this pint-sized voracious eater kitty have to ‘look & choose’ which cluster of kibble to eat + where. I know there will be the same benefit with kitten portion wet food, as well. Should be easy-peasy to wash with a dish brush.Amazon order/deliver service was impeccable. This is a well made, heavy ceramic product with no sharp edges, which is wide and shallow, excellent for cats. It doesnât slide around during use. I do clean it by hand to ensure food is removed properly, but it can go in a dishwasher.The dish was reduced in price when I bought it and was reasonable value.I love the pastel colour. My cat doesnât care about that.Bought for to contain wet food for a very greedy cat and so far itâs been effective.However, nothing will slow my catâs eating speed to where it should be; this is a behavioural challenge. He is convinced that another feline will eat all his meals, despite being the sole cat at home. There are no miracle cures to this behaviour, but the dish certainly helps!

Reçue il y a quelques minutes. Juste le temps de la laver et j’ai testé tout de suite.Acheté pour un de mes chatons de 8 mois qui est très grand et à commencé à vomir à chaque qu’il mange des croquettes trop vite et sans mâcher. Se frustre très facilement alors j’avais un peu peur, mais des son 1er essai, ça marche super. Il ne peut plus prendre une grande bouché et avaler. Il est obligé de prendre des portions plus petites et il croque plus déjà . Sa sÅur qui est route petite s’est régalée aussi. Je vais en commander une 2eme pour elle.Je la pose sur un tapis spécial pour chat. Les assiettes normales ne bougent pas dessus et celle-ci n’a pas bougé non plus. Elle a l’air plutôt solide et fait un bon poids.Très contente de cet achat.Reçu la seconde assiette aujourd’hui. Même qualité, arrivée très rapidement. Le paquet rentre dans la boîte aux lettres.Lavée et mise de suite pour mon deuxième chaton et elle se régale.Ce matin mon chaton glouton pour qui j’ai acheté la 1ere à vomi pour la 1ère fois depuis qu’il utilise l’assiette mais c’est de ma faute: j’ai mis trop de croquettes du coup il a réussi à en attraper plein d’un coup. Finalement, une poignée suffit pour la journee et une seconde pour la nuit.
