There’s are awesome so far!
So i got these up and running for a week now and I love them! The app is easy and they work great! I will say getting them to this point was a little challenging and I hope this helps someone. To set these up they work with wifi 2.4 now my internet service modem is 5.0 and how I was able to set them up was to call up my provider of my internet, and on their end they can reduce your modem for an hour to 2.4 in which is long enough for you to program them and after an hour, your modem will automatically go back to what it was, in my case back to 5.0. They been working fine since and no problem with my internet. They are dimmable, set time to turn on n off, change color or keep them steady on same color. Great lights! They shine great on white walls, but make it an off white and not bright white for better shine.

Gallery lighting at home
We have several large canvas photos in our home, and the existing ceiling fan lights just didn’t do them justice. We installed one of these for each photo, and now they look incredible. We now have better lighting than our local art gallery! They are straight-forward to install if you are comfortable cutting holes in your ceiling and running wire through your attic, etc. Otherwise, it would be best to hire a professional. We like that the color temperature can be adjusted. However, the adjustment switch is on the metal box, so it’s not easily accessible once installed. We have been using one set on a dimmer switch for over a year with absolutely zero problems. The light is very pleasing at all brightness levels with no flickering. We like them so much that we ordered another set when we got more pictures.

Very well built & Easy to set up
Purchased two kits to accommodate for front and back soffit lighting. Very pleased with the results as installation and set up was very easy.Just note: each lights need to communicate via Wi-Fi 2.4 ghz so in my case I needed to install a wi-fi extender in the attic near the lights.(see photo) that cost an additional $17 from Amazon.Extender acts as a hub and go-between to main router. You can also call your internet provider and request to install 2.4 ghz along with the normal 5 ghz. On your account. mine did it at no additional cost.Overall, the setup was very easy , app is very good and allows scheduling lights;Setting up groups, and many other useful functions

White LEDs are great, colored LEDs are lacking.
To keep this short: The normal white modes (warm, daylight, cool) are great and extremely bright.If you are wanting this for the RGB/colored modes… they’re kind of weak. Brightness levels are low in comparison to the white light modes (I believe due to LED density, more white LEDs than RGB ones). These would still be great for spaces that have low to medium ceilings and if you don’t plan on having the colors be bright enough to fully illuminate a room but rather provide a sort of ambient lightning.The lense that this light uses is mainly a plastic diffuser that spreads out the light (the product images make it look like glass), kind of making the whole gimbal feature pointless. Still useful if you plan on directing them on a nearby wall, but not so much if you are trying to aim them at anything beyond 10 feet, at that length the light spreads similar to a flood light.

Nice product and great customer support
I had electricians install 8 of these fixtures and set them to 3500 Kelvin. They broke one of the spring levers and when I contacted the seller I got an immediate response and a replacement fixture very well packaged and protected 4 days later. When I looked at the fixture they took down I see that it had not broken due to poor manufacturing and might be reusable, as a spare.I had them set the color to 3500K, but then decided this is too blue for my living room and easily reduced it to 2700K, which will be fine. Generally the build is flimsy, but should be adequate located in the ceiling and very seldom to be touched. There is a nice tight fit and seal under the rim to keep the insulated attic from leaking heat or cold into the house. Also there is a cover above the hinged lamp so attic insulation can not interfere with easily adjusting the tilt of the lamp to compensate for the ceiling slope or to flood light in a specific direction.

Liked the lights at first….support was non-existent…ultimately do not recommend
UPDATE: At first we loved these lights. Then I had a product support question. Amazon re-directed me to the companys website and I got no response after submitting a request. Then the lights started to go into pairing mode and flashing all the time and again reached out with no product support reply. We still have these lights installed but every time you turn them on we are not sure if they will work normally or if they will just flash constantly. Its frustrating…you go to turn the lights on and all they do is flash on and off at random. I honestly can not recommend them but you can read my initial day 1 review below.Purchased these for a new house build. Husband likes wifi connected gadgets and loves these lights. Pretty easy to use and out of the 30+ we bought all work perfectly. They will change colors to the beat of music or look totally normal as bright white lights. The gimbal is fine for our use and we have steeply pitched ceilings. Fun living room lights, would recommend.

I recently ordered these gimbal led lights and was having the issue other reported where the light will flash after powering off at the switch and reset. After extensive troubleshooting with the vendor (great service and support!) they send me a replacement junction box and the issue was fixed. I had replaced my blinking light several times, moved the blinking light to another junction box where the issue did not occur and confirmed the issue was the junction box.
