How did we get our start?
I created Hearthy Foods because of my mom. For years, she suffered from diabetes and high blood pressure. I remember the day doctor told her that she had to eliminate rice, naan, and roti from her diet. For an Indian mother, these were her life staples. I felt so helpless looking at my mom’s face and seeing the sadness in her eyes. This was when I had the idea to make a GF flour and wellness company so that my mother would be able to eat and feel better without sacrificing taste. Although my mother is no longer with us, her struggle inspired me to start Hearthy Foods.

I was stunned when I got on the scales at the doctor’s office. I weighed 120 lbs. I’m a senior who’s 5 foot 10, and that’s too slim. Listen to the experts like Gundry MD: most people don’t get enough collagen in their diet, because they only eat muscle meat like hamburger and rubber chicken, and not Grandma’s chicken soup that has all the nutrients and collagen. This collagen is high quality and doesn’t have a strong flavor. It can be added to soups and entrees like stir-fry and curries–even oatmeal. It will thicken the sauce. I put a tablespoon in my mushroom coffee every day. It mixes well. I can happily report that I have gained 10 pounds of muscle and bone thanks to exercise, collagen, and low carb diet. You need to give up the sugar, refined carbs, eat nutritious foods, and your health will improve!

No smell and taste when placed in hot liquid. However, when using with cold or room temperature liquid it smells a little and can taste something. It also makes small foams. I still Iike it though.

I was initially skeptical about starting collagen powder and wondered about the taste, smell, texture etc., but this product has turned out great! Tastes and smells like metal!
This DOES have a test and a smell. For reference,I followed the serving size (2 scoops), and dissolved in cold water. It tasted absolutely disgusting. I wish I could return it!

I use a scoop every morning in my coffee. It has no taste so itâs great, dissolves quickly and best of all, itâs Halal! Will order more for sure :)Oh my only complaint⦠the ziploc part to close it is extremely annoying and doesnât close well. Iâd work on the packaging for this, but otherwise all great!!

Iâve been using Hearthy Collagen Halal Pure Protein daily, and overall, itâs been a good experience. The taste isnât the best, but it blends well with other liquids, particularly my coffee, which is how I usually take it. One thing I noticed is that the collagen powder I got during a sale had a stronger smell and taste compared to the one I purchased at the regular price, which was much better.The fact that itâs grass-fed and Halal is really important to me, as there are very few Halal collagen options on the market, especially from beef collagen. The ingredient profile is clean, with no additives, which is another plus.I managed to get it at a discounted price, so for me, itâs been a great deal. However, the regular price can be a bit high, but given the quality, I think itâs still worth it. I use one to two scoops daily, and itâs become part of my routine.
