Cync products work great!
I have nine bulbs and a light strip. They all work great. They setup easy and the App is well designed and functions very well. The App works both on my Galaxy tablet and on my laptop running under a cellphone emulator (BlueStacks). This is the only App that I got to work on both, plus I can run them both at the same time flawlessly.

Flavor
These lights simply add flavor and mood to my lighting and so far I have not had any issues from them. I love the versatility with all the colors and moods. Def worth the buy.

Work fine but not bright enough for me
I don’t understand why they don’t make the 100w equivalent in size A19. These are 800lum but i think that only applies to bright white setting. Once you start switching colors it seems to be much less light. Functionally these were fine.

Great light show
Put it inside my bedroom, connected it to Alexa, installed Cync on my phone and have been having the best time. It can give a light show with your music, you can dim it on your phone, it is just a great smart light. Easy to install just like a regular light bulb. Connect it wiymth Cync on your phone or Alexa and command it to perform the best light shows you can imagine. Change the colors according to your mood and relax. A great value for your money.

GE Cync isnât worth one star
I had four bulbs I intended to install along my covered porch. My problem was pairing them. My initial setup I mange to pair 3 of the four bulbs. The fourth one would never pair. Thereâs a routine to unpair all of them and then pair again. I went through this sequence multiple times and was never able to pair all of them together. Actually, the best I did after the initial attempt was get two to pair at any given time. OMG, so frustrating! I expect way more from GE. Good idea, bad product. I highly recommend you find a different product. Ugg!!!

The cheaper bulb has better effects
The ball pointing down is this one which is the more expensive bulb, and the bulb shooting up is the original. Both are set on candle and both are set to the same brightness. My original has better range of effect and color dynamics. I do not feel this bulb is worth the extra for less quality.

Love these
I have these in every room. You can set them to a variety of colors. Controlling the lights is completely simple. Especially if you have Alexa. I often set the entire house to purple during ravens games. Very fun. And easy to turn everything off if I forget after leaving the house. I recommend the 6 pack if youâre going to do more than one room. Better value that way.

GE really stepped up their game!
These are not the normal RBG bulbs you see a dime a dozen here on Amazon. These “dynamic” bulbs are something new. These do everything the normal smart bulbs do (colors, schedules, Alexa, etc.), PLUS…1. You can blend up to 4 different colors at the SAME TIME in one bulb. The effect is similar to the pictures you see on RBG bulb boxes, but actually real. Be mindful of how colors work though. (For example, a bulb half red and half blue will logically blend purple in the center, so don’t expect “police lights” effect.) You can set the brightness of each hue independently. So if you want a really dim accent, you can set one color to say 5% and the rest to off. This way these can get much dimmer than normal bulbs.2. Lightshows take advantage of the new capability, so for example, “rainbow” no longer just cycles colors one after the other… it cycles and blends multiple colors WITHIN the bulb now. You can do a ton more with custom shows. I’m still playing around with these, but there are obviously alot more possibilities compared to the regular bulbs.3. These can sync to music, right out the box with no extra equipment. They have about 8 pre-made shows, or you can make your own. I wouldn’t run this while watching television (can be distracting), but it works well with music. But again, you can set a custom show however you want.I just got these, so I’m still playing around with them and learning all the new tricks. I already had some of the regular RBG bulbs from CYNC and was happy enough with them… but these are a whole different level. As far as I know, these are the only bulbs on the market with these capabilities, so kudos to GE CYNC for stepping up their game.
