Purrfect Solution for Overgrooming!
My cat was getting hairballs and blockages from overgrooming. Regular brushing didn’t help, nor did distracting him with play. I read that cone collars could help, so I searched for one that was soft but firm, lightweight, could quickly be removed, was water resistant, and not too restrictive. This one seemed to check all the boxes, so I decided to give it a try. (Although, I was a bit concerned about the velcro since my boy is a long-haired cat.)I’m happy to say that the collar works PERFECTLY! Even the velcro! Fur doesn’t stick to it, and it’s decently strong. (Strong enough that it won’t easily come off, but weak enough that it’ll safely break-away without risk of strangulation.)When my boy starts excessively licking, I simply slip his “space disk” on, and he knows to stop. He can still nap, cuddle, zoom, explore, play, potty, drink, and eat without any distress or discomfort. He also hasn’t had a hairball or blockage since getting him this collar, AND he has been overgrooming less frequently.I would highly recommend this collar if your kitty is also overgrooming. However, I wouldn’t recommend it if your kitty is recovering from an injury or surgery.If my boy really wanted to, he could still contort himself to continue his licking; the collar just dissuades him from doing so. Also, a determined enough kitty could probably free themselves from the collar without too much effort. If you need something that will prevent your cat from chewing/pawing at stitches or a healing wound, you may want to consider a different collar.

Cat hated it so it worked well
My cat got a pretty nasty wound on his face. Bought this because he kept scratching it open. He loathed this thing, but it worked well and his wound healed because he couldn’t reach it. He’s much happier now that this is off and I’m much happier that he’s better and healed! Kids had fun decorating the cone lol.

THIS THING IS GREAT
My cat usually hates these things, i bought one from my local pet store and she would not keep the cone on it was either always lose or she’ll literally take it off her self, so i had to return it. My cat keeps scratching the side of her face where she tends to bleed a lot and she never lets it heal, i’ve tried everything, nothing seemed to work. So i decided to try the cone situation again and went on here and did my searches where i came across this cone. It is absolutely amazing and it is not bothering my cat or atleast it doesn’t seem to bother her lol because she sleeps in it and doesn’t try to take it off. The velcro part is very comfortable on adjusting the cone around the neck and very comfortable in general to just take it off or put it back on. I really recommend this cone. I honestly didn’t know what size to get her so i winged it and got the smaller size and it fits amazing, i even put two fingers under the cone to see if it’s roomy for her neck and it is!!!

Be sure to order correct size
I used this product to bathe my cat and used a flea spray that he could not ingest. The product was a little snug but that was my fault, I think I ordered the wrong size. Product is good. It stayed in place as my cat did not agree to taking a bath and would not stay still. Good product for a good price

This cone was to stop my cat from licking herself to death, literally. And it works, she’s not happy about it but it will help her stay away from the doctors office. This product is easy to put on and so far she has accepted the fact that she has to wear this, despite the evil looks she gives me for it. This I would recommend to anyone who has a similar situation. Just don’t leave the pet unattended for to long because they can not eat or drink with this cone on and it is also difficult for them to use the litter box with it on. Oh the things we do for our pets. For that reason I’m in.
