Awesome remote plug!
This plug connected easily to the outlet I needed it for. Even though the outlet is placed super high in my classroom, the remote still reaches it with ease! Iâve had it for a year and it has held up beautifully. Great product if you have something you need to turn off and on but is too far to reach easily! Highly recommend!

Perfect solution to a mild inconvenience!
I bought a cute new overhead light that for some reason, put the on-off switch at the end of the cord, making it painfully inconvenient because the outlet was behind my desk. Rather than invest in another surge protector, I gave this a try.Works right out of the box, no programming or additional batteries necessary. I took the keychain off the remote and used a command strip to hang it on the side of my desk, and it works perfect. Sometimes it does need to be aimed at the outlet to work, but not always, so I used command strips with the velcro just in case.Honestly, my only issue is I wish I had bought the version with three outlets, because of course the PC lights I ordered the day after have the same issue with the on-off switch by the plug! These things are seriously handy and way more affordable than smart lights that need a phone or wifi signal to work. Seriously cannot recommend them enough!

These are freaking awesome. We’ve had some electrical issues with our house and had to remove some switches and outlets that let us turn off our lamps. This fixed that. We set up our lamps, christmas tree and outdoor lights with these plugs. Love the remotes too. Have them set up on the walls on opposite parts of the 1st floor. The all off button is awesome at night for bedtime. Only negative is that I have to point the remote and hit the buttons a few times to get the outlet to respond. But honestly great product!

I bought these for my mother-in-law since her lights are those where you need to physically turn the switch next to the bulb. The remote is a game changer and reduces her fall risk at home. This way she does not have to lean over and risk falling to just turn the lights on.The remote comes with a keychain attached to it and battery already installed. Therefore, you can hang the remote up somewhere or you can carry it with you, if you wanted to. The remote seems kind of fragile so I would not recommend carrying it around. There are two light bulb images at the top of the remote. The left bulb is shown as lit and the right bulb is shown as not being lit. These are supposed to resemble ON and OFF. Therefore, you need to press on the end of the button for whether you want to turn the outlet on or off and not on the middle of the button.The outlets are already preprogrammed so all you need to do is plug it in. To activate, you need to press the on/off button on the side of each outlet. Each outlet has a number on the back that matches the number on the remote. For instance, the #1, #2, and #3. That makes it easy to know which outlet you want to plug in at a certain area. There may be a slight delay when turning on/off but it is pretty negligible.I think these are excellent for people that are elderly, people that have hard to reach switches, or those that want the convenience of using a remote. However, I wish it came with two remotes. That way the remote is not carried between rooms. This is the biggest drawback I see at the moment.I am happy with this purchase and I would purchase these again for their convenience and ease of use.

Great product
These work very well, and the quality is like that of an Apple product. They can be turned on/off remotely, or manually by use of the green LED on/off button on each receiver. Each of the three receivers is numbered to match the corresponding button on the remote. I like that you can also turn “All” outlets on/off at the same time. The remote has a tiny red LED showing that it’s transmitting the signal – an appreciated feature.One excellent use for this is if you have up to 3 items that you need to turn on in sequence, such as audio systems where you’d turn on all other equipment(s) before the power amp.I haven’t tried maxing the distance, but I can verify that it goes at least 30ft line-of-sight.I didn’t care for the keychain on the remote, so I gently pulled it downward and out, and it popped out w/o breaking the plastic tab holding it in.Advice: make sure you press the buttons as far out to the sides as you can. Pressing toward the center of the buttons causes inaccuracy.How could it be better? Make the transmitter glow in the dark. Then you can find it in the dark when all the lights are out.Highly recommended.

I bought this 5 pack of remote control outlets to use in my workshop. At first I thought that these were too underpowered, but they work just fine. I have one attached to my vacuum/dust collector and I love being able to turn it on and off without being near it. Another thing that I admire is that there is a button that will turn all of them off at once which can double as an emergency shut off switch for safety. I recommend this product and I can say that they are capable for almost every application

I have several standing lamps that, unfortunately, have barely accessible on/off switches — they’re the kind that you step on to use, that lie on the ground. You’d need to be a contortionist to get to them. So I got these little items and now, I just click the clicker (yes, it’s the remote) and the lamps turn on, no acrobatics needed. It took a little while for me to figure out the programming, bc anything more technical than Ziploc food bags is a lot for me, but I got it done, it’s actually very easy. Going to attach more electronica to these, makes life easier!
