Very effective, my dog respects it
Iâve been using the collar to train my dog to behave better while walking and spending extended time in the backyard where our yard backs up against 2 fences with other dogs.First to note: the collar doesnât need to electrically shock the dog. I have it set to vibrate, then beep if he doesnât stop the barking. Itâs easy to adjust the sensitivity of the trigger and the warning/vibrate beep or shock intensity.The battery lasts for a long time. I am using it twice a week for hour to 1.5 hour walks and havenât had to charge it in many weeks.I take the collar off indoors because itâs easy to remove, and I want the dog to alert if someone comes inside.Quality build and easy to use. Respected by the dog. Itâs a win-win-win.I like this Fafafrog product. I think I would pay more money for an expanded option with a remote control or proximity remote to vibrate on a misbehavior to see if I could train Leo to stay nearby on a walk without a leash. Iâll be watching for a version 2 product like this.

This thing works INSTANTLY!
We have a beautiful and very sweet 2-year old German Shepherd that has just gotten worse and worse with her barking, especially whenever guests come over. It’s gotten so bad that people start to get a little worried on if she is going to attack or not. My wife suggested we try a smart collar. After churning through product reviews I landed on this one. And let me tell you, I’m super pumped I bought this one!After getting the unit fully charged before the first use and reading the instructions, we set our collar on setting #2 with the beep and vibration turned on. Here we are 24 hours later and our Shepherd has 95% stopped barking when a car pulls by, garage door opens, parcel delivery person at front door or a door opens (her normal ballistic barking moments). Smart dog and a smart collar. She still has her moments where she’ll get super excited and bark loudly once, but the collar goes into action and she stops immediately.I noticed some comments talking about other dogs setting the collar off, not the case for me. We have a 4-year old blue Pit who did not perviously have a barking issue, he has barked a couple times in the last 24 hours and it has not set off our Shepherd’s collar at all. Ironically, our Pit never had barking issues until we got our Shepherd, then he became partners in crime with the barking alongside his new sister. Since having this collar on our Shepherd, the Pit has stopped barking at the door and car cues because his sister has stopped. Such a relief!!!All in all, 5 out of 5 stars for me. It worked so quickly and efficiently. I think we’ll start taking the collar off in a couple days to see how she does with hopefully a long-term behavior change.Don’t hesitate. Buy it. Worth every penny to me.

Well Designed Easy to Use, Performs as Desired
I have generally had a lot of difficulty with things I order on Amazon that are electronic and small. Typically so shoddy and hard to understand that I have gotten into a habit of purchasing Asurion insurance just to make sure I can get my money back, and I have had to use the insurance way too often. So, it was a pleasant surprise that the FAFAFROG Dog Bark Collar is so well designed, and the directions to use it are clear to make the preferred settings and see them work so well. I have been using it for two months now. When I first got it, I was skeptical because of what I wrote above, and it has a shock mode using two plastic protrusions, that looked like they might hurt Coco the Labradoodle’s neck. So I thought of returning it, but Coco was still barking too much so I thought I better try it without the shock mode. The “jiggle” vibration mode works perfectly. Coco quiets down immediately. And when she sees people and dogs (her friends of course) she self-regulates to make low growling noises which are so low they do not trigger the vibration. (Also, you can regulate the sensitivity on five levels depending on how loud a bark you will tolerate.) I have also used the “ring” mode, and that is okay, but jiggle vibration is sufficient. I still have not tried the shock mode because we did not need it. (I would hate to shock our mini-dog person family-member.) A surprising thing is Coco actually likes to wear it. She cowers from all her other collars. (I think this is because the FAFAFROG Dog Bark Collar does not have a hook for leash attachment as it is not designed to be your main leash-attached collar. It is purposed only for signaling. So Coco never gets an irritating tug from me on the FAFAFROG Dog Bark Collar). When we go out she wears two collars. One for the leash and the FAFAFROG Dog Bark Collar for her to self-signal and self-regulate.

IT WORKS!
I tried several anti-bark devices and this one really works. The first time my dog barked with this on, she did not like it. By the third time, she understood what was happening. It has been less than 1 week, UPS just rang my doorbell, and my dog DID NOT BARK for the very first time ever! It looks great, it it’s easy to operate, and like I said before, it actually does what it’s supposed to do. Wow! Less than 1 week and my dog is already controlling her bad barking behavior! Highly recommended!

My German shepherd dog (8 months old) was barking non stop. Not wanting to go into shocking collar right away (BTW they are now called static correction collars now) I tried the Petsafe citronella scent spraying collar; what a joke! didn’t work at all but my dog smelled great! Then I tried a vibration collar I believe also from Petsafe. Same: did not work. My neighbors called bylaw because of the dogs barking. Then I purchased this one on amazon;This collar is amazing. My dog only had to bark about 4 TIMES and learned to keep his mouth shut. First it gives off a tone, then a vibration and then a shock. I think Ive charged it once in the past 2 months (I do turn it OFF though when not in use) . The collar has a super easy to read display which lights up the icons of the functions being used (tone, vibrate and or shock) We stopped having to use it after 1 day as it was THAT effective.Love it and we got to keep our dog.

We have tried everything for our overactive barker and spent hundreds of dollars on products that donât work. Sonic boxes, citronella collars, various medications. This worked instantly and pup has quickly figured out barking will cause the collar to activate. I have had 4 days of peace since this arrived and can count on one hand how many times she has tried to bark.It was getting to the point we were ready to rehome her due to the anxiety it was causing our family and neighbours everytime someone walked past or came to the front door.Hopefully in time this will correct her behaviour where she wonât need to wear it so often.
