Works well on thick doodle fur
I got this off of a recommendation from our vet for trimming angora rabbit fur. I tried it on my doodle’s fur and it worked great too so I bought another. It can cut easily through unmatted fur and you can slowly coax it through mattes too. It is easy enough to control to not cut your rabbits skin when shaving super short. The guards work well, but make sure you look carefully for which side is which. On guard has a 3mm side and a 6mm side. You would think you could visually tell the difference without the label but they look very similar. The battery lasts quite a while. More than I need to do a full body trim on my small 12lb dog. It is very quiet and light weight. All the fur that might get trapped under the blade can easily be cleaned out by removing the blade from the top and cleaning it out. All around great little clippers, especially for the price

Wow! They WORK!
Many years ago, I spent $100+ on more “professional” Oster pet hair clippers. I can’t believe these affordable clippers work BETTER than the big name brand.We recently adopted an obese cat who had terrible matting down both her sides. The matts were down to her skin and almost like the hair was glued into hard clumps. Over the course of an hour and a half, I slowly clipped away all the matts!The clippers never nicked her and are pretty quiet (might still spook a more skittish cat). I had to figure out a technique that worked for us (I would brush around her face as I clipped her). I got faster once I practiced and went along. As you can see, I got a LOT off. She now looks like an edgy punk! I can tell she’s so much more comfortable, having all those lumps removed. I also did a sanitary trim around her hind end.My sister mentioned that her vet tech friend uses the same brand clippers at their vet clinic. They charge fast and are small and nimble.Even if these clippers don’t last forever, I already got my money’s worth and I would buy the same ones again and again!

These little clippers are amazing!
We have a 16 year old long haired kitty who has always had beautiful, long, well-groomed fur. As she has gotten older itâs gotten harder and harder for her to do her own grooming, and she hates to be brushed – as a result she developed numerous âturkey feathersâ (mats). I decided to shave her vs try to hand cut them all out (there were a LOT, and trying to hold a squirming cat while trimming giant mats from under armpits and belly while wielding sharp scissors sounded like a recipe for disaster). I wanted something quiet that stayed cool to the touch, was cordless, rechargeable, and actually effective. Other cheap clippers Iâve tried in the past didnât work all that well. But THESEâ¦ohâ¦these cut through mats like butter!These clippers are fantastic! They are very quiet, and didnât scare our kitty. They only have one speed, but they have multiple guards for different lengths. The single speed is just fine, it worked great all over her and didnât feel too slow or fast. The ceramic blade meant that the clippers stayed cool to the touch even during long grooming sessions (Iâm not a pro so it took me a while to get her whole body given the number of serious mats I had to contend with). The charge lasts about 2 hours, and it recharges quickly. The clippers themselves are small and lightweight, so were comfortable for me to use. The clippers went through seriously dense/thick mats with no problem once I got the hang of how to properly do it (I stuck a comb through the bottom of the mat closest to her skin and then used the clippers to shave the mat off above the comb so as not to cut her skin by accident). Our girl now has a stylish lion cut and seems so much happier now that the mats arenât pulling on her skin like they had been. I canât believe how amazing these little clippers are for the price – Iâm very pleased with my purchase and wouldnât hesitate to recommend them to anyone looking for pet clippers.

Bought after I seen vet use
Works great for cats. Very low hum sound and comes with guards if needed. Easy to charge. I help off on review for long time until I used a couple of times. This does work and I recommend. Small size to get in their quick and remove bunched hair. I assume works great on dogs since I use on my skittish cat. So easy to clean, just run under water. I like to spray alcohol then oil cleaner. Charges really quick and holds charge too well.

Works well & quieter than larger clippers. Good value for the money, we use at a vet clinic for shaving for IV catheters, quick trims on face & small matted clumps. Attachments not that useful, pop off too easily. Long lasting for cost.

Great for beginners
This was my first time ever cutting any dogâs hair. My fur baby started to get some matting deep into his coat on his collar area and sides of his stomach that I couldnât brush out. This happened once last year and we had to start him over at the groomer but his little butt is expensive for a haircut so I figured Iâd try myself this time. I was worried about cutting him but the guards made me feel comfortable and even taking the guard off for certain areas, I did not cut him. I was able to find a good groove to really work the razor and get through the hair. Iâm no pro but I feel that once I got the hang of it, it was a breeze. I did this in two days – tested it the night it arrived and shaved hair off of the battery until it died. The next day I charged it completely and the day after that I finished his cut and the battery lasted the whole time and still has battery. Probably took me an hour total between both days to get him shaped up. He was questioning the device at first but quickly got used to it and even started falling asleep at some point during his cut. So the noise level and vibration must have been soothing. So glad I ordered this and would recommend! The guards are easy to change out and itâs simple as one switch. Great beginner clipper or quick cut clipper.

Our long haired cat gets matted hair on her lower back and hates being groomed. I have tried so many grooming products and tools with no luck. I saw this recommended on Reddit by individuals working in emergency vet medicine and thought I might as well try it. It is fairly quiet compared to others, although the cat still runs when hearing it. I have been able to get one or two clumps at a time while she is resting, and it has worked very well. I would recommend it, as itâs worked better than anything else Iâve tried and was easy and safe to use.

La máquina tiene un defecto y es que la cuchilla que va al lado de la navaja es de plástico. Pero corta increÃblemente rápido.Tengo una gatito que siempre se le hacen bolas de pelos y era muy difÃcil contarle el pelo desde abajo, tardaba mucho con la máquina normal y eso que era una de buen marca, pero para pelo de humano. En fin que con esta y sin calentarse ni jalonear el pelo del gato, terminé en menos de 20 minutos. No me arrepiento de esta compra. De verdad, vale mucho la pena, trae peines y cargador.

Kann ich nur empfehlen, gute Akku- sowie Schneideleistung. Ein Vergleich mit einer “richtigen” Schneidemaschine wäre ein Vergleich mit Ãpfeln und Birnen. Nutze ich bei meinem Dackel um mal ein paar Haare zu entfernen und mal eben den eigenen Kurzhaarschnitt zu korrigieren oder auf die Schnelle die Haare die aus den Ohren wachsen zu entfernen. Ich schätze, für kleine Dinge optimal.

I bought these clippers in green for trimming small areas like between paw pads or to clip a small area for an IV catheter while at work. It seems to work fine which is great but it’s definitely not green which is the colour I ordered, it’s not even pink which is the only other colour that was available to buy but some how it arrives white. But the main thing it works. Also keep in mind it takes a while yo arrive
