Measure and add a few inches to the sizing
EDIT: Two years later and this collar still looks practically brand new. A little wear on the hardware but minimal. The leather has gotten softer with time and no issues with the stitching. I will admit that my dogs only wear their collars out on walks but i actually think that’s a hinderance with leather as it needs to be worn to remain pliable and soft. So A+ rating from me.Just remember to size up if close to posted size range.Original review: Really nice collar. Leather is soft and the stitching is solid. My dogs go through collars like crazy so I decided to try leather. This seems like it’ll hold up well and will be easy to clean. Simply wipe with a damp rag. Took off a star because my dogs neck measures 18” but I had to return the medium as it’s too tight. I could get two fingers under the collar but just barely. I did measure the outside circumference with the collar when closed and it did measure 20” but with the thickness of the leather and the fact that they didn’t take into account that you’re not putting the collar on tight, I’d say to take 2 1/2 – 3” off their sizing when ordering. I liked the collar enough to buy it in the larger size. I just wish that it was the same width. My dog is very stocky but not tall so the thinner collar looked better. I would recommend to anyone looking for a leather collar.

A great stylish collar, especially for the low price
I was slightly concerned that the product wouldn’t look as good as the photo but it was actually better. Quality thick leather that looks much more expensive. Added bonus: has an additional ring for the leash on the opposite side of the buckle so the tags hang down out of the way. 6 months and so far so great.

Genuine leather
I was a little distrustful that it would be made of real leather, mostly because of the price, but this is a really good quality product made of genuine leather that adjusts to the dog’s neck and is very sturdy. I love it. I will buy more.

Terrible Qaulity
I purchased this product 3 or 4 months ago and both of the rings to hold the tags/leash split open, allowing my dog to get off the leash. Good quality steel that thick would not bend from a 40 lb dog pulling on it. On top of that the leather on the collar is starting to split and fray. I would highly recommend against this product just for the fact that it’s a liability. Luckily I was able to get my dog before she took off. Your money would be better spent on a product that will work.

I did order the xL I had to make new holes. I would order a L it’s well made it’s beautiful. I did pay 45.00 a lot . As now I see less prices. Amazon dose not price match. So was disappointed. But the collar is beautiful. But I when on a budget it can make you mad when is goes on sale before you even get it in the mail.

Buyer beware. Seller ships what is in description. Not what size you select. At time of writing this review, the description changes as you select sizes and the selected size does not always match the description. Seller claims I got what I ordered and A-Z guarantee is limited in what it covers. If ordering one of these collars make sure the Product description is the same as size selected otherwise its your fault you get the wrong item. A-Z Guarantee is worthless. Good luck. The collar that arrived is nicely made and will suit a smaller dog than I have.
