Great set of at home dog clippers!
This set of at home rechargeable dog clippers is perfect for simple at home grooming of your dog or cat. I have 3 small dogs and professional grooming is very expensive. With a little practice and online tutorials, I’ve learned to do simple grooming at home. The noise level of this set is pretty low and doesn’t upset my dogs. It’s about like an electric toothbrush. The set comes with everything you need. The clippers, various guards, a smaller clipper for face and feet. Oil and a few other things. The clippers and sharp but safe! They can not cut your dogs skin! I tried it on my own hand! They’re good on my poodles hair and my shih Tzu’s hair. So, that’s both thick and curly and straight and thin. It has worked well for me. You get about 30 – 45 minutes on a single charge. It depends on the hair type.

TERRIFIC, with exceptions
UPDATE: I have used this groomer several times now. I need to give an update. This groomer deserves more than 5 stars. When I reviewed it before, somehow I missed that YOU CAN CHANGE THE RPM while using it by pressing the little lever on the front. Even at the higher speed it is super quiet.Today I groomed BOB the field springer with the long double coat. He usually fights me. He just sat there. The super QUIET groomer didn’t freak him out. I upped the RPM to get through all that fur. YAY.It held its charge well and was only down to 85% power when I finished grooming Bob.The little paw groomer didn’t work as well in between the pads. It fits in there great but when there is a lot of fur it wasn’t cutting quickly. Maybe I will figure out something on that that I didn’t know?But really, look at all you get with this groomer!!!!! Comb, scissors, oil, a bunch of comb attachments that are easy to slip off and on once you figure it out.You absolutely can’t beat the price and these did a great job.I wanted to write a fair review, so I waited until I could trim both dogs, and the husband.————————————————————end of updateI did give 5 stars for overall performance, but please know that they do say this is for HEAVY THICK coated dogs and cats, and it really doesn’t have the RPM (in my opinion) to handle a double coated dog, and I would hesitate to use it on a spitz or pom.I started with my Field Springer, Bob. He has a double coat of fine hair on top and coarser second coat. He HATES being groomed. I thought this quiet (and it IS quiet) groomer would work for him. NOPE. I tried a few swipes down his back and sides and it took off very little hair, using the 5/8″ comb. I switched to the shorter comb (and changing combs is another story) and tried again and it was still just not taking off enough fur.I had to finish him with a 14 year old heavy duty trimmer that uses a cord and is heavy and even with two speeds is noisy. It freaks out Bob, the Springer but it is over with quickly.THEN, I brought in my French Brittany, Joonie. She has very fine hair with a lot (a LOT) of feathering. She also hates being groomed, especially with my heavy duty trimmers. She wasn’t bothered with the noise from the GOOAD clippers even on the high speed. I was able to get the overgrown feathering off her butt (see before butt photo) and her legs. I got under her ears. I got it all, even the tops of her paws. Hair doesn’t grow between her paw pads. (gosh I wish I could get to my Springer’s…).I was able to finish her trim before I got the flashing thing telling me to add some oil (which is no big deal).Here we get to a really cool part. The PAW TRIMMER with the two sizes of attachments AND the nail trimmer. I didn’t do the dogs’ nails or paws. Bob the Springer won’t let me and Joonie’s nails were just trimmed. BUT, I thought, OOOOO, that small attachment.I have been doing my HUSBAND’S hair since the pandemic closed the barbers and stylists down. We figured I had done the dogs long enough, how bad could it be. I got pretty good at it. His hair is thin. He is old like I am and not vain…………but I could never do that yucky EAR hair senior men get. I have great barber scissors but I would never get them close to his ears. He has some blunt tipped scissors that are supposed to be for ears that leave a stub. Well, I USED THE GOOAD PAW CLIPPER small attachment in his ears and in the curves and the upper part of his ears……IT WORKS PERFECTLY!!!Negatives:I find the instructions for attaching and removing the different sized combs is confusing and I even went on line to see if there were a video or better illustration. It was frustrating. They need to clarify a bit better or put an illustration on their product page. I finally figured it out, but not from the illustration.I don’t think this trimmer will work with a really thick coated dog like a Spitz (I’ve had two). Maybe it will if your doggie loves the attention of being groomed, is smallish, and doesn’t try to SIT or run away when it takes a long time.Pros:It is super quiet and that helped with my freaky French Britt who hates things noisier than she is.Once you figure out how to attach and remove the combs (which takes time) they are great to have.Great to have the ergonomic scissors included.Great to have the metal comb included.Just wait till you try the small attachment or the paw trimmer that is included on your husband’s ear hair. (or on your dog’s paws)The price is amazing for all these good things.

Nice quality kit, not professional grade
This is a good consumer level dog grooming kit for light applications. Did not work on dogs with extra thick coats. For most other dogs, this kit should work fine. The detail tool was a nice addition, never used this before and getting in those tight areas like the paws was easier with that.
