This is exactly what I was looking for
My dog loves to eat my cat’s food and is a bit too much for my elder cat, at times. I used to have set up of stuff to block the door. This helps to keep the space open for my cat and block my dog when need be. Still easy for me to go into the room. It was affordable, easy to install and just as important, it works. I would recommend them.

Perfect pet product
I love this product! I have 3 of them and they work perfectly to keep my mischievous fur baby out of his favorite places. I bought expensive locking containers to keep him out with no luck, he’s too smart and always figures them out. These door props work like a charm! My guy is about 31 pounds and I have mine set to almost the max. I love how it’s adjustable and most of all affordable. It allows my cats privacy and my pup protection. Easy to install and use.

Works surprisingly well
I bought this and I was sceptical about how well it would work, but I am pleased with how well it does. It was easy to install the door still shuts fully and it keeps my 90lb GSD out of my cats litter box. I have found him pressed into the space between the door and the frame still unable to get through so I’d say it’s very strong. I would and have now recommended this to all my friends that have cats and dogs in the same home.

Great idea, but Cheap screws
I bought 2 to keep my dogs out of rooms that my cat likes..they are a wonderful idea except if you have a XL hefty cat or a narrow door area. Once the cat squeezes through the tiny screws that help it slide to different sizes start to come loose causing the thing to close and become too narrow for the cat. I tried to tighten the screws and they broke very easily with a slight twist (im not that strong) luckily the company replaced quickly because i do like that it is a solid piece that stays open unlike other flimsy bungie cord rope models that dont keep the door open. You can also lock your door with this so people cant get in but your cat has a way in (obviously hands can get through so useful only if its just a key lock on one side and nothing on the other/not just normal bedroom lock you open from inside lol) other than the cheap screws they use for the sliding part it works great to keep dogs out! And I have 80lb pittbulls that LOVE to chase my cat! They run into these things all the time and have yet to get inside the room where my cat is.. ive also locked my dogs in the room with this device and they have tried to nudge their noses and cause it to open but no luck. Very sturdy in that area if your original screws to your wall are already long and sturdy. Again the little screws that slides the opening larger and smaller need to be a better material (only if you have a very narrow door space next to a wall or a XXL Cat hehehe..normal openings with more than a 1/2 foot of space next to the opening works perfect for a cat since they have room to get through without rubbing the door or the wallâ¦other than that great idea!!

Wonderful dog mitigator!
I wanted something that allows me to access my basement without the extra steps commonly necessary with most doorway modifications while allowing my cat easy access & preventing dog access.This product is perfectly suited to meet the need.It’s easy to install and adjust depth, it only took a few minutes.It doesn’t require any permanent modifications to the door or doorway (though it probably could if your latch area is extremely tight).The plastic has held up to my kids slamming the door several times, which I’ve been nervous about since it is plastic.Ultimately it opens and closes in a way that feels like a regular doorway, and if I really want to, it’s not difficult to completely close the door with this device either.

I was losing my mind. My sweet cats were losing their minds. And our wild new puppy was taking over. The puppy blues set in, âWhat have we done?â. I thought my day would consist of rotating everyone through different rooms so they could use the litter box, go outside, eat and nap. Dread set in. I donât know what I searched or how I stumbled upon this product but for $20 I was sure going to give it a go.I am not exaggerating when I say with one door prop alone, sanity started to return. The cats had access to the den/laundry room/ litter. However my sweet cat Stella couldnât access her room anymore so I decided why not get another so she can go back to her zen space. More. Sanity. Arrived.Fast forward now and I have 4 door props! The cats have full access and peace of mind to all of our carpeted rooms and the pup has the main living area to roam and play.I had moments with this product where I thought âugh, I need to buy a new oneâ BUT I hadnât used their QR code to see how I can problem solve my concerns.-Iâve experienced it slides and moves when closed. You just need to tighten the smalls screws.-Iâve walked into it while I was in a rush and it wouldnât latch properly which made it tedious to go in and out of. They suggest adding a piece of paper (shown in the second picture) and BOOM works wonderfully. You can make it look nicer of course but I was excited to see if it worked.-I also experienced on two doors where I thought I had to lift the door for it to latch properly. No no no, I just had to unscrew the little screws and place it on the little nub (I donât know what that part of the door is called lol) Every door is different and you will not tighten the small screws perfectly vertical, their will be a few millimeters difference.-As far as cracking? And it not being sturdy? I am no gentle lady with these kind of things. I can be aloof and walk into it, over tighten things, slam the door too hard while in a rush. It has withstood me. We use these doors every day. Iâve closed one of them all the way while my husband has band practice and yes thatâs not as convenient as if it wasnât there but in my opinion, itâs a prop. Itâs sole purpose is to keep it open, not constantly closing it all the way.-My husband enjoys the convenience of products. If it wasnât convenient and useful, we wouldnât have them. Plain and simple.So in total, $80 for peace within the home? Worth. It.

We use this on our laundry room door(where the cat food is)Works perfectly, and is adjustable so you can dial in the perfect opening to let the cats through but keep the dog out. Install is literally two screws; remove the door strike plate, install this in its place, and put the two screws back in.Also still allows you to fully open or fully close the door as well. Neat little idea
