4.Power up and verify your doorbell is receiving necessary power using the accompanying application.
For thermostats
1.Cut off the power of circuit breaker.
2.Install the wire from your 24 volt adapter to the “C” terminal and the other wire to the “RC” terminal. You need to use included jumper and connect from “RH” to “RC” terminals，if HVAC system has a cooling.
3.Plug the power adapter into the socket and turn on the power of the circuit breaker. Install the panel on the thermostat.

Holding Steady at 80%
I bought this for my 2024 Ring Battery Doorbell Pro. I was actually about to return it because the battery percentage kept dropping from a full charge, despite the device power source reading âhardwired.â Turns out the ring doorbell either charges up or depletes down to an 80% battery level. Itâs just how this doorbell model manages the battery. Otherwise, the charger works perfectly as advertised and powers the doorbell just fine. I appreciated that the cables are particularly thin, at least compared to competitors. Installation was easy. The length was a little overkill for my needs, but the price was markedly less than the official Ring hardwired charger.

Works so far, but not sure for how long.
Iâve had this doorbell installed a little over a year. I usually could get a few months before needing to charge it. Since I recently got new neighbors that walk through my front yard daily and set off the motion detection at least 3-6 times a day, EVERY DAY, I barely get a month before the battery is low. I got this to keep a constant power supply.This adapter is working so far. I had to do some troubleshooting at first. It does matter what side you connect the wires to so switch them if you donât have power at first. At first it only showed that the power supply was the battery in the ring app even though the doorbell button light was on. After I rebooted the doorbell it would finally show that it was hardwired. If you see the doorbell button light is on when plugged in but the app says the power supply is battery not hardwired try rebooting the doorbell.Also I recommend testing it out before installing the doorbell on the mount. I ran the wires behind the mount so the doorbell would sit flush.My main concern at this point is how thin the wires are. I donât know how well this will hold up to the weather and wear from opening and closing the door. I donât have the option to run the wires in the wall. I may try covering the wire with electrical tape for some added protection.

I am disappointed in this power adapter. It has been used. The wires are showing and one part of the wire is brown where it was painted. Clearly a used product that was sent back and not checked before sending it back out. The box is in good shape but the product is not able to be used .

It’s charging!!
So happy that it’s charging and it was kind of easy.The only issue is, after putting the cord on and then the plate, it was kind of difficult to attach the ring back on flat enough to screw it back up. I pressed hard and then it worked
