Strobe light for drones
This small strobe light easily mounted to the battery protector cover on my new DJI Neo drone. It charges easily via USB C so thereâs no need to carry or use a proprietary cable. I like that I can see the drone much easier now in lower light environments so I need not worry about loosing it as much. Overall, Iâm very pleased and recommend this.

Really bright
If you have a drone and plan on flying at night, this is the product you need to keep you in compliance with FAA regulations. It has several lighting modes – red, green, white and can strobe or be solid in any color. It remembers what you set it to when you turn it on again. The light includes several different mounts – rubber bands, velcro, and double sided tape. The thing that really amazed me is just how bright this actually is. When I turned it on, it literally blinded me – I saw spots for about a minute afterwards. It certainly is bright enough to meet FAA regulations. Once up in the sky, it made the drone easy to spot, even when it was quite far away. I am going to order two more so that I have green, red, and white.

Similar to VIFLY strobe in a case
This light looks like a VIFLY strobe with a plastic casing, though the battery is somewhat larger than that in the VIFLY. The brightness level seems similar to the VIFLY and Firehouse lights I have. The seller states that it meets FAA requirements for 5 km visibility.Two-sided adhesive, Velcro, and rubber bands are provided for mounting to the drone. The light has channels on the sides for the rubber bands to fit. I rely on Velcro for mounting strobes.The light operating mode is selected by double clicking the on/off button. Color patterns are then selected with a single click. There are numerous color blinking patterns available, but I use the white strobe pattern and rely on the memory function to start the light in that mode each time. The light weighs 16 grams.

Super bright, multiple colors and modes
1200 LM makes quite a difference from the 1000 LM strobe I was using, I can clearly see this strobe doing its thing on my drone when it’s 400 feet up. The case is light and there are 3 colors and 4 modes for a total of 12 different light possibilities. I haven’t used it enough to determine charge life but it’s at least enough for 3 20-minute drone flights and that’s about a full day for me. It comes with good-quality hook-and-loop pads to attach it to whatever you’re attaching it to, and the pads have good adhesive and do not peel off easily. All in all I like this strobe a lot and it’s become my primary one after just a couple trial runs.

BRIGHT!
The important thing here is that this LED is bright and really visible at a good distance. It’s also tiny and light weight, so it doesn’t appear to affect lightweight drones in flight. It charges pretty quickly and the battery so far seems to last much longer than my typical flight times.There are multiple flash patterns and colors, but a strobe in bright white seems to be the most visible to me. Also, it comes with multiple mounting options including 3m tape, velcro pads (several – generous!), and rubber bands that can loop around a drone arm and attach on two grooves in the light body. Pretty clever.All in all, this seems like a decent light for low-light (or even daylight) situations with a small drone.

Very bright, not sure about 1200 lumens, but it is very bright and easy to use. I like that i can rotate between green and white as a blinking light that you can see from a distance

Lightweight, bright light
This drone light is only 17 grams, and it is easily accommodated by my Mavic Pro with no visible change in the flight capabilities. The light is very intense, better avoid looking straight into it. Makes for much more improved visibility when flying compared to the droneâs own position lights. The product pictures show this light in use when flying in the dark, but as far as I know we are not supposed to fly drones in the dark no matter what.
