These work great. One is in a standard glass globe and one is in a kind of brick like setting. I was worried the light would not come on or not stay on in the enclosed brick like setting but it works great in there too. nice but limited life span
i like these lights a lot, but as others have noted mine started to no longer switch off at dawn in 10 months. cheap enough i bought them again until i find something betterUPDATE: might be the issue is that my two garage frontage lights get hit by direct sunlight in afternoon, and my lamp enclosures are clear (not frosted); so might be what causes sensor burn out. The lamp on my porch in shade all day is still working just fine afte 10 months (all three deployed same time; only the two for garage sides failed; leaving lamps on at low power all day long). So, for what it’s worth, high UV direct sun might be reason for early sensor fail.
