Wonât find any better for the price!
Honestly I havenât had high expectations to this protein powder. Cheap in price, but needed something really quick. When I opened the Vanilla flavor tub, I took a sniff and smelled nothing! Got the scoop out and thought, the best thing about this brand is probably the scoop, wide in diameter and not too deep. Then I opened the Chocolate flavor tub. The color was grey-ish and it smelled nothing like chocolate, actually just like random powder without any taste. Well then I tested both and I have to admit, the TASTE is GREAT. I like the slightly gritty texture. Used to love casein protein powder, because of that type of texture. Normal whey, clear powder, isolates, hydrolysate, concentrate weâre always super smooth like water, whatâs good no question about it. But the slightly gritty texture is just a personal preference. Of course this is no GHOST protein powder, where the taste is amazing in all of their flavors, especially the VEGAN Coconut ice cream, chocolate Cereal milk and Cinnabon. But getting 2lbs, with a good taste, mixes and dissolves well, a proper scoop for only $20 ($10/each), UNBEATABLE. And if youâre in for a treat and like cinnamon, add a good pinch of cinnamon to the shake and youâll love everything about it. 10/10 recommend!

Good product
A bit thick and chalky if you use only with the recommended amount of water or milk, also the powder tends to glob up on a spoon or sides of the glass until itâs fully blended. That said, itâs the only protein powder I buy now: high protein content, decent taste, and very reasonable price. I usually add frozen fruit and more milk than the directions call for, btw.

Overwhelming flavor
I ended up ordering this based on the ingredients listed in the body of the listing. It turned out the ingredients were only half there because the actual label contained around 10 more that weren’t listed. Amazon understood and refunded my money but did not want the product back. I ended up trying to use this protein twice and found it to be terrible for me. The flavor is hard to describe but I wouldn’t go as far as calling it vanilla. The first time around I followed the instructions and found the flavor to be disgustingly sweet and I couldn’t finish the first go around. I gave it a second try and doubled the recommended amount of water. It became slightly better but still not great.Compared to other vegan proteins I have tried this required a HUGE scoop of powder. I definitely would not buy again but it is ok @ the price of free.

Best plant protein powder I’ve found
I love this protein powder. I’ve tried many – kos, vega, owyn, etc. Most I’ve found are thin after adding liquid, this is the only one I’ve found that thickens and leaves me feeling full until dinner. I mix it with water, bananas and spinach and I’m set. And the flavor is fantastic. It can be a bit clumpy, but that doesn’t bother me. I like their regular protein powder too, it just has something like 10 grams of cholesterol and I’m trying to lower my cholesterol, and the plant version has 0 grams. The only thing I don’t like is that I can’t find their plant protein in the store. The only place I’ve had luck was Kroger, and I don’t have a Kroger where I currently live. I hope they never discontinue it, I would be very sad.
