UPDATE: I am updating my review because of the excellent customer service I have received from the manufacture. As I said in my previous review the camera takes excellent videos and photos. It was very easy to set up and get running. After set-up you can set it to alert for movement and record a 1or 2 minute video. What is also great is that you can go onto the app and see what your camera is looking at and set up “alert areas” or where exactly you want the camera to alert within its field of view. Very sophisticated. However, I think this function needs to be fine tuned because sometimes the camera will alert at cars on my street even though that area is not set up to alert within the camera’s field of view. This is actually a small inconvenience as it doesn’t do it all the time. Also, I have noticed that with even the video record and alerts set to off, it will sometimes give an alert and record anyway. Again, this is not a real big problem, but I feel EbitCam should look into this and maybe update their software so this won’t happen. But overall this cam does exactly what I want it to do as to alerting me when someone is near my home and I have to say with all the little caveats I am very very satisfied with this camera. Its price point is great and it actually does what the company advertises. I am glad I purchased this camera.Now…EbitCam’s customer service. It is the best customer service I have ever dealt with when purchasing a product from Amazon. Once they saw my first review on Amazon they immediately contacted me through email. They genuinely seemed concerned and really wanted to help. Even though some of my problems were legitimate, a lot of my “problems” I had were actually were not actual problems at all…it was my lack of knowledge. When I first started the email chain with them, they sent me a brand new camera without hesitation. Wow! After installing the new camera I they communicated with me almost daily wanting to help in anyway they could. They were very patient and caring. They walked me thru each step and then followed up the next day to see how it went. After all was said and done and I accumulated the knowledge I needed, my camera works great and I have a greater understanding of the intricacies of working this camera….not that it is hard to use….but they gave me the knowledge and a better understanding. Bravo to EbitCam’s customer service!!In summary…..is this camera perfect..?…No, but what camera is? But it does the job that I need it to do and I think you cannot go wrong purchasing this camera. It has been working flawlessly since installed. My suggestions to EbitCam is to update the software so that the camera won’t sometimes sporadically record when not asked to and maybe re-do the operation manual to better explain to the customer the operation of the camera. Other than that I whole heartedly recommend this video camera for people to purchase. It is dependable, rock solid, and records excellently.I have updated my review from 3 stars to 5 stars today. If I could give two ratings; one I would give 4.5 stars, because of the flaw in recording only sometimes when it is not supposed to, but EbitCam’s customer service I would give 10 stars!

Excellent remote 4G security camera
This 4G web camera is an excellent product. The price for what you get is very good. I researched many different cameras and I decided on this one. Considering everything, it was the best choice.We use our camera to monitor cattle, their water, and the general security of our land. Our land is remote. The camera picks up a good signal from AT&T, Verizon, or T-Mobile. The connection is always solid.The app works great. The app notifications work great. We use the memory card to record the motion activated videos. Then access the recorded videos remotely via 4G, the memory card, and the app. We set up multiple users for the camera on the app. So, all users can view live, recorded videos, and manipulate the camera direction. All users can also set up notifications for anytime a video is recorded by the motion sensor.The motion sensor has a screen on the app to disable blocks of areas. For example, if a tree branch is causing the motion sensor to trip, you can block this area. This greatly reduces activation from trees, grass, and anything that moves that you don’t want recorded.The customer service and support via the app text messaging is fast, responsive, and accurate.The users guide is clear and helpful.We buy the annual data plan on the app. It lasts the whole year even in HD quality camera mode. The data plans are priced good.I bought a segmented pool cleaning pole from Amazon to mount the camera up high. I used steel zip ties from Amazon to secure the camera to the pole holes where the pool skimmer net would go. Then use the same zip ties to mount the pole to the fence T-post. I mounted the solar panel on the same pole. I taped the removable pole segments to reduce the play. I left one segment without tape, so I can bring the camera and solar panel down for maintenance.The only maintenance I had to do was to replace the memory card after about 6 months of use. It may have failed from the heat. With a new card everything worked fine even in the heat and cold.The only recommendation I have for this product is to use a lens that will last in the sun and elements. Maybe use a glass lens. Maybe a visor to block the sun from hitting the lens. Or a replaceable plastic lens. The sun caused crazing of the plastic lens after about 1 year of use. The crazing caused the lens to be cloudy, so the image quality went down.I had to get a replacement camera at no charge, except for paying for the return shipping. The camera was just outside of its 1 year warranty period. Customer service decided to send me a replacement anyways.We have used the camera and app for over a year now. Other than the memory card failing and the lens clouding, everything works great.We highly recommend this product.The 2 attached photos are taken from the camera using the screenshot button.

If you are thinking about buying one just do it!
So far , I love this camera. I purchased the set up with no WiFi â it works great in my barn!!! The price point was great â easy to set up â (there is a YouTube video that walks you through the process if you donât like working from manuals.) the company also followed up after my purchase to make sure everything was ok and sent pictures and descriptions to further assist me with my set up. Picture quality is great. I can watch my horses closely from anywhere !! Unfortunately I had a defective battery but the tech department kept in touch constantly and sent me out a new camera immediately. I shipped back my camera for free. The goal of this camera company is to make sure the customer is happy. And they succeeded. I plan to buy more cameras for my property. ðUpdate: one of my cameras wonât hold a solar charge. I had it in a tree to view fields so I had to get ladder etc to take it down to charge it. I finally had to move it to the barn so I can easily plug it in to charge it . This is the 2nd of 3 cameras that have had battery issues and I have been unable to contact seller â my son has more expensive cameras that have worked better. Although I was unable to contact seller directly , I have been able to get a response from customer service. Yilia has been my contact person and has handled my issue with my camera seamlessly. Even though I was outside the return window from Amazon , my camera was replaced quickly after trying to trouble shoot the issue of being off line . I really appreciate the support
