Outstanding Smart Plug, integrates Seamlessly with Alexa
I should have purchased these years ago! The small size makes them easy to install and they are a breeze to set up on the SmartLife app. Best part is that they immediately carry over to the Alexa app so you can construct routines to turn them on and off in response to time, noise, or other events. I have now used a dozen of these to control Christmas lights and window candles and they are much more reliable than the older controllers I got rid of. Bought four more and one had a problem, which the manufacturer resolved quickly with minimal fuss. These Smart Plugs use ‘dry contact’ switches so these work well with LED and very low power loads. They will control up to 110V and they have a ground prong, but I would not use them outdoors unless protected from the weather. These work over WiFi, not bluetooth, although bluetooth is initially used to set up the Smart Plug. A great device for use with Alexa. Technology made easy!

They are easy! They work!
I was skeptical… I have always used Z-Wave or Zigbee, but the price was right to expirement with. These were VERY easy to setup and connect them to Alexa. I installed the app and connected it to my Amazon account. I did one at a time… it was super easy for the app to pickup the new plug and assign my Wi-Fi and name it. Frome there, I added the groups and schedules in my Alexa app. These could not have been easier. Lights come on. Lights turn on. No fuss at all. Please note that these are only 2.4GHz but that should not be an issue for most people. I am a total geek, so I force my laptops to 5GHz and have no issues. I cannot stress enough how seamless this was. Someone thought it out, tested it thoroughly, and produced a great product that works on the first try.

Cannot fit two plugs in an outlet! Other than that, I Love them!
I bought these to control the lights in the bedroom, and they work beautifully! While they can pair with many services, I personally only use the SmartLife app. It allows me to not only turn them on and off from my phone, but also set schedules for wake-up lights, control them with Siri after an easy few clicks, and share them in a household so anyone in my home can use them too. Loved them so much I bought an additional 4 to set up in another room. The only downside is that they’re too large to use 2 in one outlet. For most things this isn’t an issue, but something to note for sure! I assumed they would when I purchased them, and have since worked around it. But I feel everyone should know before buying. Other than that small inconvenience, great product, is easy to use and saves a good amount of time and thought with scheduling my house to automate so many things!

Huge time saver
I calculated that I have literally leaned down to plug in or unplug Christmas lights about 2,000 times since we bought our house five years ago. Last year my wife decided that one small unassuming tree upstairs should stay up all year. I plug it in half the time in the morning (my wife the other half) and I unplug it at night all the time (a total of 500 times a year). I looked for a variety of options and found these smart plugs. They work with smart phones, Alexa or can manually be turned off or on. I plugged my Christmas lights and two trees into the smart plugs. I downloaded the free app. I named each plug and created a group called Christmas allowing me to turn them all off or on with one button. Then I set the Christmas group to automatically come on at 9:00am and turn off at 12:00am midnight. Let me tell you: not having to bend down to unplug or bend down to plug in lights 750 times a year is well worth the small price I paid for these. After Christmas I will repurpose them for other lights. I cannot believe I waited this long to buy smart plugs.

End of the grinding mechanical timers!
So cool! I use the Wi-Fi connection function with each of the four plugs. Bluetooth connection is also available. I was afraid that WiFi would not reach the most remote smart-plug 35′ from the router, at floor level, but no problem! There is an option to assign the plugs by one of six room choice types in the house which makes the identification easy. I had already programmed each of the four plugs by plug name but found that one cant rename other than the default name as plug 1, plug 2… etc. So I redid them using the room name option LR, DR, BR, KIT. This will work for me.I was kind of shocked seeing that I could turn the plug on and off from my phone. These can be programmed to turn on when you arrive home so that you can have lights turn on when you enter. They can be programmed to turn on at a certain time. They can be programmed to turn off at a certain time. They can be programmed to turn on and off which is what I’m doing with fans to automatically cool my house in the afternoons, replacing the noisy mechanical timers with smart plugs.CONS: the app could be made to save a default setting so that you could just use it with each plug if you’re using the same thing over and over. But you have to program each time for turning the plug on, MTWTFSS, save it then turning the plug off, save it. It’s pretty easy and straightforward so I can’t complain too much. There’s a setting so that you could have the plugs turn your lights on and off at random while you’re perhaps away on vacation. Nice! They seem to be built in a beautifully designed fashion as unbulky as possible so it still could connect to wi-fi.

Better than a timer !
We bought to use on the Christmas trees that we put in the bedrooms for when the grandkids were here. They worked fantastic! I can schedule the times or simply turn off and on with the app. Ive set them on other items since Christmas and is fabulous. No more struggling with setting up outlet timers!Connecting with the app was easy. We’ve had no issues with them.

Convenient
These work great! I bought them for my Halloween and Christmas lights. The app is user-friendly, and the setup is effortless. I can operate the outlets with my phone and set timers, which is very convenient.

Amazing
Purchased so my Christmas lights would all turn on at once and it works perfectly! The app is easy to use and you can adjust time easily and turn on and off with a button. The are small so they donât take up much room. Would highly recommend!!

Bought these for the vintage lamps in our bedroom. His and her lamps that are beautiful but awkward to turn on and off from bed. Not wanting to accidentally knock over a lamp we bought these.Easy to connect to the app, and easy to add to shortcuts. There is even an âAdd to Siriâ button in the app.Now we just say Siri, turn off Robinâs lamp and the lamp goes off. Have added shortcuts that will turn both lamps on or off at the same time using âBedroomâ in place of individual names. These are great! excellent price as well. Can highly recommend.

The plugs were very easy to set up and sync with Alexa. One of the four did fail. I contacted the customer and they were very apologetic but were quick to resolve the situation. I received a replacement plus one extra very quickly. That is the type of business I like to deal with. They stand behind their product and pride themselves on their customer service and have every reason to. I will definitely deal with this company in the future.

Firstly, I have purchased these more than once. They are easy to install and attach to google home.I use them to power on lighting throughout the house including the side lamps in our bedroom. This year I formatted a plug to turn on the Christmas tree. My grandchildren argue over which of them gets to turn on the Christmas tree.great fun..Of course you can control them over the internet which is a safety feature..if your away from home..However, I have had to replace the older plugs as they seem to lose the ability to communicate with our home network. I would guess they last about 3 years soâ¦..I keep spares on hand.Great product

It works great. If you have bell fibe with the giga router like me you might need to adjust your router settings to get it to connect. I changed my settings from letting bell optimize my router to doing it myself which allowed me to change the name of and connect to my 2.4 ghz band without changing the name of my regular 5 ghz wifi which I have a lot of things connected to. Seller offered a refund but I figured it out.
