Nice and soft
I wanted a blanket that hid the wires,wasn’t white sherpa,and had the cotton weave or crosshatch of a hospital blanket.This i thought would be like that based on the weave pattern.It isn’t crosshatch but more of a design.It is warm but not as thick (and hot) and more manageable than the sherpa ones.The whole blanket moves together (thankfully) if you ever had one where the top and bottom move different ways like 2 blankets.Most importantly,it isn’t white sherpa backed and just asking for every thing imaginable to become stuck in it as a fuzz ball….and despite what some have said it does have 10 heat settings,10 timer settings,and remembers the last setting if turned off and back on.Havent washed it yet….but the wiring is sewn in their own tracks and don’t appear to flex.

Quick and comfortable
So far I love this blanket. It is soft, warm, and I like the design. I have not had any issues with this and it’s easy to used. The price is good compared to the others, the quality of the material seems to be good and it’s not too thick or too thin.

Hits many of my requirements
I’ve had at least 10 electric blankets over the years … but this one is fast becoming my favorite for a number of reasons. Firstly, the blanket is so soft and so lightweight (important for me because I do not enjoy a weighty blanket of any kind). Secondly, the blanket has very ample width (something I’ve found not always to be the case with other warming blankets). Thirdly (and importantly), the blanket heats up VERY quickly … turn it on, and the bed is warm in under 5 minutes. I’ll have to see if that continues to be the case as time passes, but right now I do not need to remember to turn on the controls 30 minutes in advance. Those controls do have only 6 settings instead of the traditional 10 or 12 settings. But #6 is too hot for me, and I’m finding #3 setting is quite nice. And of course, there is a timer to automatically turn off the controls (very important) … maximum time is 6 hours. That works very well for me, but that could be an issue for you 8-hour folks (lucky you).One thing I love about the blanket is that the bottom control connectors are not centered on the bed but are placed on the opposing bottom corners … that made it MUCH easier for me to “thread” the cords from bottom of bed to top of bed to plug into the wall outlets. And I’m not ever touching those bottom connectors with my feet during the night since they are tucked on the corners … brilliant idea!My only reservation is that the heated surface of the blanket stops at the edge of the mattress side (even though the the blanket hangs over the edges for at least 12 inches each) … but then, so do all other blankets I’ve had in the past, and that might be a safety function. So I’ve decided not to reduce number of stars on that … I have given this one 5 stars across the board but might come back with an addendum if I find some “negatives” with longevity of use.

This was the perfect gift for my grandparents! Itâs very thick and soft material! Perfect for these cold winter evenings! Itâs easy to use and I love how itâs washable! Great value for the product guality! Also the color is nice and as expected.

It’s a good investment, price wise, but would not recommend for super cold climates. I don’t think it will do that much good.
I give it a Five. I set it on 3, and it gets hot. I’m in SoCal, so it doesn’t get terribly cold. It’s a good throw, when you don’t want to throw up heat in all the rooms. I have forced air electric and it’s not cheap. I don’t sleep with heat. Its good for cold nights in California. It doesn’t get terribly cold, but when you heat this throw up before you hit the bed, it’s super warm.My dog loves it, he tried it out, before I even hit the bed

Luxurious and lightweight
I enjoy how soft and luxurious this throw feels. Due to arthritis itâs difficult to use heavy blankets so weight is very important to me. Even though itâs lightweight it keeps me quite warm! It looks so cozy you just want to curl up in it.

This light electric blanket is certified safe to use in Canada. I love the textured look and colour (grey). Once it is unfolded on bed it looks nice and smooth (others complained that the wires looked noticeable and ugly). The controls are easy to use and you can set it to turn off in one hour up to ten hours – very useful. And it heated up very fast – it really didnât need a pre-heat setting.There were several negatives that made me decide this was not what I wanted.It had dual controls, but also required TWO plug ins to wall outlets. These electrical cords were heavy and awkward to snake from the bottom of the bed to the night tables to the wall outlets. Heat control had ten setting, but set at 3 it was already too hot! I canât imagine needing the other seven settings. I bought the blanket to preheat my bed for 20 minutes before getting in. Really just to take the chill off. This worked perfectly. I then turned it off before falling asleep. But the extra layer of the blanket with my usual coverings – even with the heat off- was just too warm throughout the whole night.

I got this for my dad and he keeps saying how much he loves it! He uses it for the sofa when watching movies or taking a snooze.Keep in mind this is not a heating pad but it gets very warm and there is a timer which is actually very easy to set.I highly recommend and might get one for myself.
